"Good location and price was decent. However, there's more than bad than good. The area was spacious, bed was ok and sheets looked clean. Now the bad, floors were sticky so I had to wear my shoes all the time. The back door stayed open and so anyone and come and go and the towels were stained. I stayed for YouTube purposes but wouldn't recommend unless your really on a budget. Not allowing me to attach photos but you can see reviews on Google."

"This was amazing old hotel with a ton of history. It is in walking distance to a ton of shops and restaurants and in close proximity to multiple state parks and recreational areas. The staff was extremely accommodating with any request I had. Also, with its close proximity to US81, it makes for a great place to stay. I would highly recommend this location for a stay. Cheers!"

Creekfront mountain cabin on Tumbling Creek with 2 bed, 2 bath and dog friendly!

Wonderful Accommodations

"Everything was top-notch! The cabin is extremely well-appointed and exceptionally clean. Alergies aside, don't let the description pet friendly deter you from staying here without a pet. Due to the cleanliness, you could not even tell that pets have stayed here. We did have our dog with us and appreciated the little amenities such as food and water bowls, a crate inside the cabin and an enclosed porch to keep pets safe while they enjoy the outdoors with you. Terri was very communicative throughout our stay! The fishing in the creek was good. It was nice to be able to go and throw a line in anytime you wanted. We highly recommend Creekberry and will surely be return guests!"

Gorgeous Country Views in SW VA

"Melissa and Brian's home was just as described. Peaceful, clean and quiet. Easy to locate. Comfortable beds. Driveway is on the steep side, which was disclosed in the listing. However, we had also stayed here in April and the driveway was not that bad. But, this month of May brought lots of rain and has made the driveway much more difficult with the washouts. Definitely more of a challenge with multiple deep ruts. Our other couple had no problem last month with their sedan but it was a challenge for them to get up the driveway this month. Better with a SUV. Marion is relatively close and has some good restaurants: Sisters Cafe breakfast lunch; Macados and Moon Dog also very good. Husbands were hiking on the Appalachian Trail which was not too far to access. Would definitely recommend this home."

Breathtaking Views

"Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see horses and cows grazing on the hillsides, and the horses even visited one morning, we woke up with them right outside the window. We walked the trails, and the kids had fun following the trail map and sign posts. If you're looking for a place for a large group, and if you appreciate a rustic, country atmosphere, this cabin is a great choice. We are already talking about a return trip."

"Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms. Some suggestions: 1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source 2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed. 3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately. 4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested that you add a table or piece of furniture to put your items on when you use the bathroom. Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
