Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Libertad?
The best time to visit Libertad, Baja California Sur, Mexico, is during the dry season, which runs from November to May.

This period offers consistently sunny skies and pleasant temperatures, typically ranging from 20°C to 28°C, making it ideal for outdoor activities and enjoying the beaches. The ocean is also calmer and clearer during these months, superb for swimming, snorkelling, and diving.

For those looking to experience marine wildlife, particularly whale watching, the peak season is from January to March when grey whales migrate to the warm waters of Baja California Sur. This is a truly unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts and families.

If you prefer to avoid the busiest tourist crowds and don't mind slightly warmer temperatures, May and November are excellent shoulder months.
