The space
The home backs up to Glenn’s Creek, which also flows past Woodford Reserve Distillery and Castle and Key Distillery. The back yard and patio is the perfect place to soak in the authentic vibes of Kentucky.

Property is absolutely beautiful and couldn’t be in a better location for distillery tours in Frankfort! Would absolutely go back if I ever find myself in the area again! Adam went out of his way to make sure his guest enjoyed their stay!

Awesome property and experience

What a breathtaking location and awesome property. It was so clean and well stocked, in a nice quiet location not far off the highway. The host checked in with us after checkin and during the stay to make sure everything met our expectations and that we didn't have any needs. They provided a nice booklet that outlined how everything worked in the house and had a few recommendations for things to do. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again (and hope to!)

The absolute best!

This was the absolute best place we have ever stayed. Clean, well stocked, comfortable and the host, Adam, was wonderful to work with! We are already looking forward to many more vacations here. The hot tub was clean and enjoyable. We highly recommend The Stave, food and service was impeccable! I can’t say enough good things about Limestone Landing.

Great place, off the beaten path

Beautiful setting. Creek behind the house. Fire pit, hot tub. Great outdoor space. Clean, well decorated, comfortable indoor living space. Host goes out of their way to make your stay pleasant. Best VRBO yet. You have to stay here if you’re visiting the Bourbon trail, historical landmarks or Lexington.

Wonderful house and location

The hot tub was amazing. The creek and backyard were well thought out and private. The home was clean and included everything you’d need and then some. Hosts were responsive and offered great recommendations. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot near many distilleries

This house exceeded all expectations. It was clean, cozy, and well stocked. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. If you're looking for a relaxing place for a quiet getaway or need a spot to stay on the bourbon trail, this is the one.

Great spot for bourbon tours

The house was in an excellent location for taking tours of distilleries. My two brothers and I had plenty of room in the house, and the living room was very conducive for lounging.

Awesome!

My wife and I loved this place! It's a short distance to multiple distilleries and is a very peaceful place to visit. We did particularly enjoy the hot tub with the Bluetooth speakers. I would highly recommend a stay here. We plan to visit again down the road.

Beautiful house and location!

Great location, central to the various attractions in the Frankfort area and bourbon country! The house was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for the stay. From the welcome basket with snacks to coffee pods, and extra toiletries in case we forgot something. Great communication and checked in to make sure everything was to our satisfaction! Great hosts, would highly recommend staying here!

Great home base for the Bourbon Trail

We had an awesome stay here while on the Bourbon Trail. It's located near a handful of distilleries and perfect for a day trip out to Lexington. We loved how remote it felt right on the creek with a cute patio/yard and hot tub at night. The place was super clean and Adam was very responsive. There were thoughtful extras like snacks, umbrellas, games/puzzles, and bug spray. Perfect place to recharge between bourbon tours!

Excellent Choice

We loved staying! Charming house and host family. The yard is perfect for family games. Fire pit and hot tub were great in the evening. So close to The Stave, Woodford and Castle & Key. Not far from Buffalo Trace. Highly recommend!

Great Stay

No need to over pack. Adam and his wife have the house stocked with necessities. The home is clean and beautiful and they seriously thought of everything you may or may not need. Great location for distilleries, the hot tub is a great touch, and we even walked around in the creek. Great stay and plan to return.

Perfect for Bourbon Trail Stay

You can tell Adam and Melanie care about hosting. Although I’ve never met them in person, they went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. From the welcome snacks to presents for our kids, they were great. The house was even better than described and it is so close to Castle and Key and Woodford, with Buffalo Trace a 15-minute drive away. I highly recommend this property and I hope I’m lucky enough to stay here again!

30 Year Reunion Getaway

A bourbon trail weekend with old friends was highlighted with the perfect spot to hit several distillery tours. Sitting at the campfire next to the river sipping on the weekend’s purchases! The location was so convenient for our Kentucky Bourbon Trail tour this summer. Adam is very responsive to messages and a perfect host. Great getaway in bourbon country

This is a great property perfect for a couple or a family. We (adult couple) used it as a base for exploring bourbon country, since we were close to Lexington and an easy drive from Bardstown and Louisville. Castle and Key and Woodford distilleries are literally down the road, and the great Stave restaurant is a neighbor. Beautiful house in a lovely setting. Host is available and responsive—although we never met in person because everything we needed was provided in the house. Would absolutely recommend!

Just do it!

All of the reviews are true. This place is the benchmark for short term rentals. In every way this property knocks it out of the park. You deserve this, treat yourself and book this before your dates aren’t available.

Property was excellent. All the amenities were top-notch including the hot tub and extras on site. Nothing was forgotten. There were even extra toiletry items in the bathroom and snacks! The property was very close to Castle and Key and Stave. The owner is very attentive and communicative.

Quaint, quiet, beautiful

My wife and I wanted a relaxing getaway to check out the bourbon trail and just chill at a rental home. This place was perfect!! Very clean. Extra amenities and snacks were provided. The owner was clear about check-in, check-out. They have a great guide to some of their favorite places to see and eat. The hot tub is phenomenal!! We will definitely be back! D & J - Ohio

Fabulous, comfortable home near distilleries

My husband and I stayed at Limestone Landing for several days celebrating our anniversary. The house is in a great location with easy access to several distilleries and horse farms. It was quiet, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything you could ever need. We spent our days wandering the bourbon trail, visiting Louisville and Lexington, and it was great to come "home" to Limestone Landing at the end of each day. There is a great outdoor space with a creek behind the house and a hot tub! The host was very communicative and made sure we had all we needed and treated us with a special gift for our anniversary. We were a little sad to leave this sweet home.

Beautiful Location

This house is in a beautiful spot with a stream running through the backyard. In the evenings we would sit in the hot tub and relax in the peaceful surroundings. The layout of the house is great, with plenty of kitchen and livingroom space. The beds are very comfortable. The owner provided everything we needed including lots of towels, laundry and dish soap, miscellaneous toiletries, even some snacks!The location of the house was convenient for the distilleries that we visited: Buffalo Trace, Four Roses, and Whiskey Thief. It is not a far drive into downtown Frankfort.The owner was very thoughtful and easy to contact if needed. It had snowed a bunch right before our visit, and they cleared the driveway and walkways of ice and snow. Much appreciated!
