"This property was absolutely fantastic for my wife and I and our two year old dog. The home watery well equipped and the decor and interior was spot on. The grounds were amazing and very well kept and private. In terms of location we were a two minute drive to the waterfront in Chester. Bill and Sandy were awesome hosts and we will make it a point to be back again."

"We had a great stay from August 20-27. We chose this spot as it was close to family in the area and we wanted to be able to base ourselves close to them while also being within an hour or so of a lot of Halifax, Peggy's Cove, etc. The cottage was a great size, with lots of space for our family to relax and spread out. The kitchen was very well-appointed. The outdoor space was just wonderful - we enjoyed a campfire almost every night, and during the day the kids spent hours in the paddleboat...

"Great location, good value. Cozy and comfortable for a week’s vacation. Only challenge is accessibility, I had assumed that both main floor bedrooms would be usable for adults but the small bed is just foam on plywood, so it isn’t practical for an adult to sleep in that room."

"Upon booking we did not realize the cottage was off grid. However, the host was good about explaining how to manage the solar power and generator. We arrived at dusk and found it hard to navigate our way through the trees and multiple turns to get to the cottage. It is a unique location on a beautiful lake.
