The Freddie Mercury Hotel

"This is a quirky hotel which has very interesting Freddie Mercury memorabilia on display. The location is perfect if travelling by train as it’s at the end of the station platform! We walked down to the lake, which is stunning and also into the quaint old town. Our room was modern, spacious and very clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to help us. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you"

"5/5 ⭐️ Excellent location directly across from the train station, which made getting around incredibly easy. A big plus was having air conditioning in the rooms, especially during the summer months. Just be aware that the restaurants are not air-conditioned, so that’s something to keep in mind if you’re visiting during hot weather. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and well maintained. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"Dieser 14tägige Urlaub war perfekt, und wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen. Die Wohnung ist bestens ausgestattet, sehr sauber und alles ist bis ins Detail durchdacht. Die Lage oberhalb des Genfersees ist wunderbar. Wir haben die tolle Aussicht und die absolute Ruhe sehr genossen. Ein eigener Parkplatz auf dem Grundstück steht zur Verfügung. Zusätzlich gibt es eine gute Anbindung an den öffentlichen Nahverkehr mit einer Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Die Pünktlichkeit des gesamten der Busses und Züge war beeindruckend. Die Kommunikation mit den sympathischen Gastgebern war hervorragend. Alles funktionierte reibungslos und unkompliziert. Es wurde stets umgehend reagiert, und wir haben uns selten so wohl gefühlt.Der Genfersee, die wunderschönen Orte Montreux und Vevey, das einzigartige Weinbaugebiet Lavaux sowie die Stadt Lausanne bieten zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und machen die Region besonders attraktiv, nicht zu vergessen, die vielen freundlichen Menschen, die uns überall begegnet sind.Die Mischung aus Natur, Kultur, Kulinarik und Erholung hat uns begeistert. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen."
