Great hotel with a decent size family room (interconnected rooms). Ideally located for visits to Vevey, Montreux and all that these towns offer (Museums, Castles etc). About 15 minutes drive to AquaParc. Great restaurant on site, but its a bit pricey. Alterative restaurants not far from the hotel and Uber Eats deliveries also possible. Would've given the hotel an excellent score if it wasn't for an unfriendly staff at the check in.

Tolles Hotel mit einwandfreiem Service

Ich bin schon viele Male im Modern Times Hotel gewesen. Die Zimmer sind immer einwandfrei. Das Essen und das Frühstückbuffet sind top. An der Bar werden die Drinks immer von der gleichen Dame in Topqualität gemixt. Auch sonst ist die Bedienung einwandfrei. Ich profitiere immer auch von der kostenlosen Ladung meines Elektroautos. Schade, eine Ladesäule ist schon seit über einem Jahr defekt.

Muss nicht sein

Es fand ein Oldtimer-Treffen statt. Leider besetzten diese während des ganzen Aufenthaltes mehrere Parkplätze, bzw. parkierten auf mehreren Parkplätzen so, dass für die restlichen Gäste keine Parkplätze mehr übrig waren. Das Gleiche beim Frühstücksbuffet. Fehlendes Brot, Butter, Müesli, Milch, Joghurt, etc. Überfordertes Hotelpersonal. Zimmer OK. Klimaanlage ausser Betrieb oder (noch) nicht eingeschaltet. Zum Glück konnte man ein Fenster öffnen. Bad in die Jahre gekommen. Genau zwei Kaffeekapseln im Zimmer. Wurden auch nicht aufgefüllt. Preis-Leistung stimmt leider nicht so ganz

Great Checkin Experience

I was warmly welcomed at check-in. Despite my late arrival and the restaurant nearing closing time, the check-in staff kindly suggested I proceed to the restaurant while they completed my check-in. They even brought my room key to the restaurant. This exemplifies exceptional service! Thank you!

Wish I could have stayed longer

Great experience from check-in to check-out. Very friendly staff (front desk, cleaning personal, people at the bar/restaurant). Big and comfortable bed, very clean and tidy room. Food at the restaurant was really good. Overall a good 2 nights stay, just wish I could have stayed longer.

Great coffee machine... but was shocked that they charged us for coffee pods in excess of 1 / day / person... and @ CHF 2.- per pod its not cheap. Was also not clear that parking was not free at time of reservation... and since there are no other parking options for miles you dont have a choice.

Es gab nur französisch- sprachige Fernsehsender. Darüber wurde ich aber beim Einchecken informiert. Die Temperatur im Zimmer war für mein Empfinden zu warm. Selbst wenn man die Klimaanlage runterregelt, kühlt es nicht wirklich. Die Dusche ist super. Das Zimmer ist insgesamt modern eingerichtet.
