"We had a wonderful stay at this charming rural house in Mungía. Lourdes, the owner, is incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the room was spacious and very comfortable, and the whole area is peaceful and relaxing—perfect for a restful getaway. I highly recommend this place 100%!"

"Really attractive and nicely furnished converted old building. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was just about perfect. Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "This property is UNSUITABLE for pilgrims, despite its close proximity to the Camino del Norte. There were no washing or drying facilities for clothes beyond ones ability to improvise in the bathroom. The owner was uncontactable and did not respond to my WhatsApp message written in Spanish. They did not have a stamp for my Credencial del Peregrino to record my stay, a necessity to prove having walked the route. There were no cooking facilities beyond a microwave and the restaurant at the hotel...
