"Nice people running the place but rooms are a bit dated. The curtain in our room was torn and tattered and you couldn’t turn the air conditioner off. We had an electrical storm about 8:00 pm which caused a power outage for the area. No the hotels fault but the power was off over night. No hot water in the morning and all of the food service was shut down. Again, nothing the hotel could do about that but it made our stay a lot more complicated. "

"The Briars is in a lovely location in the Jackson Point area of Georgina, ON. It is a historic property on lovely grounds. As an EV driver, I was glad that they have chargers. Staff were friendly and efficient. My room was very comfortable and clean. I would say that the property is dowdy and could use some updating. The bathrooms were functional, but could use updated fixtures. That said, I would stay again."

"This property was perfect for myself and my children it was clean it was about 10 to 15 minutes to get to the beach which we enjoyed walking to every day. All amenities were close by. The apartment has everything you need. I don't think I contacted the host once, it just wasn't necessary.
