"The property is between terminal 1 and the terminal 2 complex via the automated CDGVAL tram, so that it only takes 15 minutes to get to the checkin desks at terminal 1. The rooms are serviceable and the hotel restos adequate, and the price fairly reasonable. So it is easy to turn in one's rental car at the end of the trip - if one rented at the airport - and spend the night and have peaceful entrance to checkin the next morning without worrying about Paris traffic or strikes on the RER B"

Nothing happening in the area around the hotel, but then again, people just use the hotel as a stop-over near the airport. (We stayed there because we have family in a village close by.)
