"We loved our stay at Hotel Porte Fina! Here are bullet points as to why: • Very clean, modern hotel just outside Barcelona (about 500m!). It has a striking unique structure and in our particular room we could see the Olympic Stadium and tower the distance. • The breakfast! Freshly made each morning with a variety of eggs, meats such including fresh raw salmon slices, fruit, bread, pastries, standard juices and specialty juices (ginger/spinach/lime and orange/ginger/something else), 2 espresso makers and more. Great way to start the day! • Bed was very comfortable • It’s in a very safe, quiet area • As others have said, both bus and train stations are within easy asking distance. This made it highly convenient to get in and out of Barcelona proper. • Very close to a large shopping mall with man restaurants, cinema, etc. •The staff…they are so kind, knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They know their way around and helped us get wherever we wanted to go via train, bus and taxi. All in all, we would highly recommend Hotel Porta Fina to anyone wanting a trip pace to stay in a quieter area where you can sleep well. "

"I have stayed at this hotel over the last few years. Staff and service is wonderful; good food and spacious clean rooms and lovely pool area. Free convenient airport shuttle. This year it appears the hotel needs a little bit of freshening up in hallways and rooms to bring it back up to excellent. Perfectly comfortable safe and clean but some wear and tear showing. Give it love it deserves. Will continue to stay here."

"It was a bit hard to find with the expedia address but after that it was fine. Parking will be most likely unavailable on the street, there is a garage available, which is 15€ per day iirc. It was quiet and clean so it was more than acceptable given it takes an hour to commute into the city one way with the transit system. "

"Disregard any negative review. We had a wonderful stay. This is a brand new property, modern building, friendly staff, room spotless clean, comfy, spacious, well furnished. About public transportation if you take the metro it's quite a walk, but if you take the bus it's arround the corner, so plan your route to end and start with the bus and you won't have any issues. Highly recommended. Stay here! "
