"What I like about staying in a small personal business is the feeling of home, a genuine welcome, and a sincere personal touch. The owner (s) greeted us warmly, insisted on carrying my heavy bag, led us to a small but comfortable room with an individual bathroom and a very comfortable fresh smelling bed. There was a framed part of Greensboro history to which our room was dedicated. The owner made us a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, French toast, an omelet and coffee and sent us off with snacks for the road. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay!! Note: the house is old and homelike so may not be for everyone."

"A terrific stay! The room has really interesting decor and an amazing retro bathroom...loved the bathrobe...great night sleep, too. We had dinner at the Printworks Bistro Bar and as I remembered it from 3 years ago...excellent staff, ambiance and food...Trout for me and a beef bourguignon for my husband...truly amazing. Also, the breakfast of duck confit hash was great! Thanks to everyone for making our layover for our trip back north memorable."

"Perfect location, as you can walk to all of the fun things but also you're a little detached from it which is nice to not be among all the noise at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom is a bit small especially for a room with 2 queen beds so potentially 4 people sharing it. Overall, a really positive experience."

"When I booked this vrbo, I think I missed the part where it had a hot tub, so that was a pleasant surprise when I saw it. I enjoyed the hot tub for a little bit...would've went longer if my daughter had joined me. I would recommend a few more lights that are close to the hot tub, for use when its dark. But the jets were really nice! The beds are great. I think it helped my sore arm get better! However, we recommend different blankets...Those blankets were a little stuffy. Maybe something lighter, yet still comfortable? My kids very much enjoyed playing on the Playstation and giant TV downstairs in the "basement" (it leads outside to the hot tub). The number of rooms and beds is awesome. All the bathrooms are really nice! Though you do want to check the shower downstairs! I used the showerhead on high spray and it sprayed over the shower wall and all over the sink and floor and my stuff. Yikes! Maybe a long showerhead or a higher shower wall barrier...The fireplace remote had no batteries, but it is cool-looking. The kitchen is very nice. The keurig was great. I had to ask the host for the code to get in, but she responded pretty quick. We absolutely LOVED the bunnies and chipmunk that we saw in the backyard!!It says it is pet friendly, but it seemed pretty clean - not like a bunch of dogs had been in there, so that's vet good.I do recommend staying in this vrbo! It is one of the nicer ones we've been in. Thank you!"

"This is our 2nd time staying at this home and the weather cooperated this year so we could take advantage of the sweet side porch. I can’t say enough about the charming decor of this home and the beautiful architecture of the homes in the neighborhood. The hosts, Maddie & Stu, are so responsive and kind. Just a completely positive experience!"
