We arrived 5 hours late to the hotel after 2 hour flight delays on both our flight. It was 2:00 am. We were then advised that the due to being a "no-show", our reservation was canceled and the hotel was fully booked. I had tried to call the hotel several times to advise we were delayed, and no one answered. Also sent messages via the Expedia massaging service.
The Front Desk agent offered no apologies, and it was only after demanding to see a manager and voicing our unhappiness with the situation, did she say they were trying to find a room for us. We had paid for 3 days.
Finally, about an hour later, did they confirm we had a room. Fortunately, it was the type we'd paid for. Despite such an unfortunate and distressing start, the rest of the stay was enjoying. The hotel is lovely, and we enjoyed the restaurants.
There has to be a better way to notify hotels of delays.
Really nice hotel. Room was clean, Breakfast restaurant were nice. Pool amazing but a bit crowded towards the weekend, sunday was a lot more open. would definitely go back.
We actually ended up staying at the W, which is attached to the Mandalay. Overall feel is nice. It’s moody, dark through the hallways, but not in a creepy way. Easy access to elevators from lobby, nice little convenience store by the lobby, as well. It seems to be open most of the night, which is great, because room service only goes until 10pm on weekdays. That was rough for us, as we wouldn’t return from my daughter’s volleyball convention until past 10. Hotel needs a little updating; especially in the bathrooms. Shower tile was kinda meh, and the tub only had hot water. It made it impossible to use, as we couldn’t cool it. Beds were fine. I hate when hotels do this, but I guess it’s normal in Vegas..they stock the mini fridge and if you want to use it, you can’t. You have to pay an extra $30 a night for an empty one. I guess they’re hoping you’ll get drunk enough and start yanking out the censored items lol.
The staff was great! Super friendly, helpful, and quick to valet and pick up bags. Menu was okay. Food they brought was delicious, there just wasn’t much of a menu. Overall, I’d recommend if you’re looking for something casual.
We enjoyed our stay in a lovely room, but were surprised at the $40 per day valet fee, and the refrigerator that was pre-stocked with expensive things to purchase with no room for our personal things. The venue is HUGE so plan on a whole lot of walking. The restaurants were expensive unless you wanted to walk a very LONG way to the Food Court. The entertainment was great and we thoroughly enjoyed the Shark Aquarium. We recommend Mandalay Bay if you have a whole lot of money and good walking legs!
Check in and check out was easy to do completely from my phone. The room was nice and clean. We loved the pool area. The only staff we interacted with was in the pool area and they were all kind. Had breakfast at Citizens. Food was great and a huge portion. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.
No usable fridge, no breakfast, no coffee maker.
There was approximately 5 pools, a full hotel for spring break and we only got into the pool area for a couple hours our first day of our 5 day trip. The rest of the time, lines were very long and seats were taken. On top of that, we were charged $50 each night for hotel amenities that either didn’t exist or we didn’t have access to. These charges were well hidden. We were under the impression that all fees were included when we booked the hotel. Very disappointing!
The property is beautiful and spacious. Breakfast at the Seabreeze Cafe was so good! The weather was not super warm, so we didn’t spend as much time in the pool area as we would’ve liked, but we did enjoy the wave pool. My only complaint would be the check-in process. We had to wait in a long line to check-in, but it was a Friday afternoon. Not sure if that is typical. Would definitely love to stay here again!
Clean room, but everything else was just a busy mess.
Parking is extra, its confusing and far walk. Pool is overcrowded, and the wave pool is so regulated you cant enjoy it, you cant even sit or swim where the wave breaks. Just a roll of water monce every minute is all you get to experience
Checkin was not smooth, took 30 min. I think this was heavily influenced by April (spring break) but waiting forever for elevators it just didnt seem very fun.
Its a Nice hotel, just not worth all in my opinion. Many other less crowded and more comfortable options in Vegas.
Checking in and out was a total pain. Huge lines that took forever and my confirmation number wouldn’t work since I bought via Expedia, caused stressed, don’t do it.
The housekeeper totally ignored my do not disturb sign on the room door twice and tried to barge in while we were asleep at 9 AM. That was after I filled a request with the chat concierge to not have housekeeping services. I had left my work laptop out thinking my room would not be bothered, lesson learned! Put it in the safe!
Aside from that and the ridiculously high prices for basic things like $10 for bottled water downstairs (not even in room )…it was a lovely stay. The pool was the reason we booked here and it did not disappoint. We could not find a couple chairs to use the first day we went so we ended up stuffing our towels somewhere and just going into the water and not sitting down. The second day I reserved an umbrella chair set for $140 and while it was too expensive, it was worth it as we finally got the beach experience we had been hoping for. Get there at 9 am and you have a chance of getting a chair, just remember everyone else is doing that too.
Beds were comfy, restaurants were great. Kumi Sushi was not worth the price though. Citizens was our favorite. Seabreeze was great too.
Such a fun trip overall and I’d stay there again but be smarter about how I book next time. We loved the whole experience!
Room was clean and comfortable. Short walk to the tram to head north on The Strip, easy access to the Monorail. Great pool and beach area. Very close to both T-Mobile Arena and Allegiant Stadium.

Clean room and nice staff. But wished it had a fridge we can use with some cups and complimentary water.
