Casa da Quinta do Paco | Douro
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (1)
"A casa é espectacular. Está muito bem decorada e melhor equipada. O acolhimento do proprietário foi excelente e ainda nos ajudou a escolher o melhor restaurante para irmos almoçar, mesmo já fora de horas, já que apenas estivemos disponiveis para almoçar já passava das 15h."

"This is a superbly appointed house in a great rural area, but close to all amenities. The owner is gracious and accommodating. I could not give more than 5 stars in this review, but would do so if possible. A delightful experience. Thank you Antonio. "

"Our house was literally at the foot of a vineyard...a spectacular setting and a beautiful drive from Porto. The house was beautiful, clean, nicely decorated and had a nice patio to enjoy the beautiful weather we had. The wine tasting room was just a staircase away. Our host who gave us the tasting was amazing. She spent a lot of time with us, getting to know us, telling stories and listening to ours. The wine and port were delicious! She also gave us a tip on a stop along our planned route the...

Quinta da Adega do Chão House | Douro Valley

"My wife and I celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary at the Quinta. It's location made it convenient to visit local museums, wineries and Churches. The location also allowed us to explore many nearby small towns for amazing meals and to meet lovely people. Porto is only ~1.4hrs by tollway, which is 90% of the travel. We highly recommend taking the train, just across the Douro in Régua, out to Pocinho for a relaxing lunch and walk around the quaint town before returning. The railway view...

"Absolutely stunning views and incredibly helpful staff! The team at the desk helped me to book a last minute tour from the day. It was so sweet they would address my by name. The rooms were spacious and clean, not to mention the beautiful view from the balcony. The breakfast was great and there were lots of delicious options for dinner. "Absolutely stunning property. Maria and Pedro welcomed us into their home and made us feel like family. Had delicious dinner and breakfast buffet served in their beautiful dining room. "This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated. The ( included) breakfasts are served at 9am, but the staff are very helpful and did provide breakfast earlier when we asked. The house overlooks Regua across the River, it’s only a 20-minute walk into that town which has a couple of good restaurants for dinner. The town of Lamego is further, about a 15-minute...
