It is a very grand hotel and we loved our big king room, overlooking the racecourse! We dinned in the restaurant, with the food being lovely! Fairly priced, good portions, and range of food on the menu! The hotel needs patronage - it is a diamond amongst many hotels to choose from. We will stay there again!

Exceptional. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Country Villa Estate. Danny and Mabel were fabulous hosts from the moment we arrived. We were met with a warm welcome before being shown to our very comfortable room which was beautifully decorated and with everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was superb with different options each day. Mabel is a true artist with her delicious breakfast offerings. Beautiful gardens, comfortable spaces to relax, a truly unique experience.

Had a comfortable stay, the location is perfect if you’re here for the beach ! Sad that the hot pools and the Mountain are now closed to the public, but still plenty to do. The gym and pools are good, although the hot pool smelt of coconut oil, which was a bit weird. But it’s hard to fault the complex, which is well designed and clean. However I have yet to be offered, or had the option to stay in the ‘twin towers’, in fact I suspect they are not part of the Oceanside accommodation, so prepare for that disappointment. The other issue I had was parking, my park had a pillar in the way and a HUGE 4x4 in the neighbouring park which ment it was nearly impossible to get my car in, I ended up incurring $1000 of un-insurable damage when I caught my car on the pillar, this really left a sour taste in my mouth as other people have complained about it in the past. The VERY LEAST they can do is put some padding on the pillars, but why not make the parks with pillars in them a little wider ?? Anyway, I’d still recommend staying here, just watch your parking !
