Close enough to shops and attractions - you get a nice balance of solitude and things to do. Easy check in/out process. Will come back!"

"The cabin was located conveniently to the airport and close enough to town to grab groceries, shop, etc., but felt secluded at the same time. We loved the panoramic mountain views. There was a slight miscommunication about the check-in process, but I believe that was on Vrbo's end as the host quickly mitigated the confusion. Next time I vacation in Saranac Lake with a larger group I will be staying here for sure!"

"Just outside Jay, this cozy little A-frame was immaculately and thoughtfully stocked. Immediately after we arrived, we were snowed in by a freak winter storm! Thankfully, we had everything we needed to weather it - snow shovel, a warm wood stove, coffee, snacks, and more. The picture window overlooking the lake is a glorious way to start a morning, and the deck and fire pit are wonderful ways to take in the lake in a quiet setting. We also enjoyed the beach a short walk away. The location is great- a mile or so outside of town and close to hiking trails. The kitchen was clean and fully outfitted to cook, and we took advantage of that a lot. We’d happily stay again."

"We really enjoyed our stay in Saranac inn. The cabin was exactly what we needed. It was rustic but very comfortable. We loved having access to the kayaks and the swimming beach, and of course the proximity to so many great hiking trail heads and biking trails meant there were too many things to do and not enough time!"

"It's a nice cabin, very secluded, a mile drive on a gravel road from town. We were out and about a lot and the drive got to be a bit of a bear. It has some of the usual cabin quirks. It's nicely appointed, but the polyester sheets gave it a definite low-budget feel."

The nature surrounding it was perfection, from the many animals and unique birds you hear, the creek right along side the place, surrounding pines, the wooden swing, camp fire, chairs, front porch, and relaxing back porch facing the woods, to the interior decor.
