"The owners go above and beyond when you stay here. We had our heli-hike on Franz Josef glacier cancelled due to weather and in passing said to the husband plans had changed. Not long after the wife knocks on our door with a brochure from another company that does the heli-hike on Fox glacier and info advising that she had just rung them and they had vacancies for their hikes and they were flying as it is lower down so bad winds don't affect it as much. The property is close to all the food pubs, cafes with lots of choices to dine at. The accommodation we stayed in had 1 bedroom and another bed in the living area, It had a little kitchen area, dining table and lounge. It had enough space for 4 adults to use and very clean. We arrived just before 8pm and the owners were still in the office waiting for us and again when we left a few days later when we left earlier than the office opens. They are very knowledgeable and happy to offer suggestions and help."

"We had a lovely stay at the Westwood Lodge on the 22nd - 24th December. The lodge was huge, spotless, and very cosy with the log timber walls, very alpine! We were greeted by a super friendly hostess who was warm and welcoming and gave brilliant recommendations. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast we received which was delicious!! Hot fresh eggs and all the usual continental sides and additions. The breakfast team also provided really wonderful service. The hotel was located on beautiful grounds with sweeping Mountain View’s and the common room with a fire place and an impressive snooker table was a great addition.
