"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and plastic around. Shame our tourist tax isn't helping with that!!"

"We’ve just had the best time at Villa Serenity. Roula was the most amazing host! We could not fault the Villa. The rooms are all beautifully clean & we had lovely towels, toiletries & even slippers! The pool & jacuzzi were fab, perfect temperatures, great size and loved by all ages. The outdoor kitchen & tv area were absolute winners! It was so good to cook, eat & hang out outside. There were 15 of us & we all had a fabulous time. We loved walking to the lake & swimming. Georgia’s restaurant next door is great with delicious food & lovely service. Perfect villa for a big family! Don’t hesitate to book."

"Crete is full of hidden gems and The Eliros Mare is definitely one of them. We had an absolutely wonderful holiday at this hotel. We think it’s the perfect balance of not too small but not too big either. The service is wonderful and the staff genuinely care and do their very best. They are also very good at remembering your preferences such as where you like to sit. We are never usually a fan of buffets for evening dinner but this one we visited many times as it was excellent. A huge range of quality fresh food. The hotel also allowed you to swap dinner for lunch if you were half bored which was great. We enjoyed the flexibility. The breakfast was equally great and the lunch. There were lovely gardens with beautiful flowers around the hotel. The beach was exceptionally lovely with plenty of chairs and parasols and the bar nearby. It was a very peaceful place to relax. We didn’t use the pool but it looked lovely. I also had a wonderful Massage We enjoyed many evenings sitting on the terrace and the hotel is very well located to visit other areas. We highly recommend this wonderful hotel if you want rest and relaxation as well as some good days out in Crete. Thank you."

"Everything at this property was amazing. What was exceptional was the front desk, and everyone from the barman to the janitor and cleaning staff. Everyone was very warm and welcoming. "Great room, amenities and food. The property is not brand new but it was very well maintained and everything was clean and in excellent condition. The pools were all very clean and well maintained, the beach was incredible and the food was excellent. Great location and you must go check out the lake which was 5 mins away. "Lovely room and pool. Location is very convenient as there are many shops and restaurants around the corner, as well as the beach. Room was spotless every day, fresh towels and sheets after each clean. Staff were very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back. The only con to this hotel is the hair dryer. If you have thick, low-porosity hair, it will not work. I’d suggest bringing your own."
