"The JAL hotel is wonderfully located in Nagano city, only a few blocks walk to the train station.
A full and large Breakfast is available everyday on the top floor for amazing views of the surrounding mountains.
Rooms are quite spacious. There are many restaurants in the nearby area to choose from every night.
Nagano is a wonderful city to visit in Japan as it’s much less crowded than places like Tokyo or Osaka. The direct bus to the snow monkeys from the station was a tremendous experience, as you get to see the snow monkeys in their own environment."

"Had a really nice stay at this hotel. Very close to the JR station - has in fact a walk way connected. Just right next to a Don Quijote store. Has Lawson at the ground floor. Close to restos and malls. Staff are very nice and helpful. Would definitely love to stay here again if we get back to Nagano."

"Excellent central hotel in Nagano, very close to the station (around 5 min walk). We checked in late after the Shinkansen from Tokyo and the process was quick and efficient. The breakfast was good and twinned with Wendy’s so there was the option of a burger as well. Clean and tidy hotel. "
