"I was in Room 6. There is a room above so I could hear them walking around, but that's to be expected in an older building. The water pressure and quick hot water were great. Thoughtful touches like cookies in the room, bottles of water. Great hairdryer, parking right in front of room, Mexican restaurant next door was very good. Easy walk to fantastic grocery store (Goodwin & Sons Market). Both check-in and check-out front desk were very nice. Nice bedding and towels. Furniture is a bit beat up and the trim could use some touch-up, but for the price and location, it was a great value. "

"The cabin was exactly as advertised and depicted on the website. The location was excellent, situated close to the lake and other businesses. Additionally, the rental went above and beyond my expectations with the provision of extra amenities. I would absolutely book again for my next trip."

"This cabin home was absolutely beautiful and very accommodating. We are a family of 5, our kids are ages 6, 8, and 14 and everyone was happy. The view of the lake was spectacular! Perfect for viewing the night stars over a hot cup of coffee. There’s a TV in every room with access to all subscription services, the bathroom is stocked with shampoo/conditioner, a first aid kit, and we had just enough toilet paper for our 4 day stay. My wife was able to cook an entire Thanksgiving feast only having brought aluminum pans to bake the bird and sides. Thank God the cabin was equipped with all cooking essentials! Pots, pans, peeler, whisk etc. To any families looking to make use of the kitchen, I do suggest you do your groceries before passing the Base Line because we shopped at the only grocery store in Crestline and what would’ve cost 70 at Aldi or Walmart ended up costing 300!!! Just a helpful tip. We bought dura-logs, one for each night and it just was the perfect ambience. The kids went to sleep in the moose and bear rooms, and mommy and daddy got to watch TV by the fire past bedtime. Just perfect. We also really appreciated the foosball and air hockey tables, the kiddos used the hell out of those since we said absolutely no iPads allowed on this trip. All in all we are so happy we chose to stay at the Chaidez Lakehouse. Fabulous views, and a fabulous host. Thank you! "

"Our time at the Lazy Bear Cabin for Six was very nice and relaxing. The Jacuzzi and outdoor living area was beautiful and peaceful and well used. I loved watching the nature and wildlife from the living room window area. Deer, squirrels and plenty of birds were fun to watch!The beds, linens and towels were very comfortable, and we appreciated the well stocked kitchen of dinnerware and cookware. Communication was excellent. Thank you Jennifer for your addressing our hiccups so quickly. Our one caveat, is for those who don’t do well with stairs. To load and unload your belongings is a nice little workout as you navigate the stairs to get up to the cabin. Our family didn’t mind the steps, but others may. But once you unpack, just relax and enjoy the cabin. We absolutely recommend the Lazy Bear Cabin for its comfort, cleanliness and communication. We will be back."
