I love getting out of the suburbs and getting up to crest lodge historic cabins - reason cozy, family style, and the atmosphere - feels outdoorsy but your indoors! Very clean, quiet, and awesome customer service!!! TY and god bless!

Staff was very accommodating and allowed us early check in. Which we greatly appreciated. Very friendly. Our room was clean and quite. The near by area takes a little work navigating but overall its a nice area we enjoyed our time here.

Location was cool, parking was fine. Rooms were spacious enough. There were black spots on the Comforter and there were no bed sheets and the heater didn't generate heat and we were very very cold all night. And the dead bolt didn't work.

My family and I stayed here for a night and we regret not staying for more nights. We absolutely loved staying here literally 7 minutes drive to lake Gregory. There are small stores around the town . Front desk assistant was amazing and so kind . Rooms were clean . Ceiling fans throughout the cabin one of our room had ac .

We really wanted to like this place. I did not expect perfection from an older place. Things were unacceptable. We would never go back or refer a friend. We stayed in the Sherwood. The room was very dirty in area. The bathroom is tiny and had mold. The kitchen had rat or mouse droppings in the cabinets. Kitchen walls were dirty. Windows did not open properly. The beds were actually the cleanest part of the room. Carpet soiled. Our room was connected to the front office by a door. We felt like we had no privacy and could hear everything when the office was in use. We lost power first night there. Power was out from 9pm till 8am. That was inconvenient. Come to find out it was for scheduled maintenance. Hotel should have know this and made us aware. Owners of the hotel would make phone calls right outside our room. Totally disturbing our sleep.

The place was nice, but miss managed, pool was advertised, but not ready for use, weather was warm. No fans other than ceiling. Place was nice, but could be better. Kids park was the only thing we truly enjoyed.

Only needed a night on the mountain due to being at an event, so I went cheap.. There is no excuse for not having the property clean.. everything was rundown and dirty.. seemed like there was zero effort and pride in the property..Pool was green, cabin was unkempt and rundown.. Mattress was soiled, only one sheet, no fitted sheet, no proper heat.., mold and mildew in the shower, carpet appeared to have not been vacuumed, dirty sock left under bedspread.. but, it was 80 bucks a night so you get what you pay for..

Would not ever stay here again!

This was the worst stay I've ever had! Would not recommend to anyone, ever. We stayed in the Big Bear cabin. In the living room area, 6 of the 15 available light bulbs were out. The carpets needed cleaned. There are issues with every floor, wall, countertop and visible surface. The floors of every room needed cleaning. The beds had one non-fitted sheet over the mattress, no other sheets, and a thin comforter which I am positive does not get changed out each stay. We all slept in all of our clothes. There is not an extra sheet or blanket to be found. There were about four cups, four plates, a bowl and hardly any utensils. This place has zero amenities and zero upkeep. The deck was covered in debris and did not look stable. Do not stay here!

The cabin I rented was filthy. The carpet was not vacuumed. The previous visitors left dirty snot tissue near the bed and a dirty shaving razor in the bathroom. There was a used Covid test outside. The outside fire pit was not working. The neighbors who checked in minutes before me complained they had no heat in their cabin. At 7 am one guest was screaming to the top of her lungs because her cabin had no blankets. It costs over 300 dollars a night so she has every right to be upset. What place charges 300 a night and has no blankets or heat in the cabins. I didn’t mind so much cleaning up more than I should have. But lord have mercy it was a terrible.

Old buildings, old soap that crumbled and did not lather at all, greatly in need of updating and renovations, towels were so thin and rough, hardware falling off cabinets, broken or missing blinds, kitchen was extremely limited with only one plastic set of plates and mixed glassware. Smoke alarm kept beeping all day and night, pillows very thin, no rod or hangers in closet, very bright motion sensored light outside bedroom that lit up the room all night long. Did not sleep
