"Such a lovely home on Lake Bowen! Everything was so well appointed, brand new, and very clean. The furniture was so comfortable we checked the brand to add one of those chairs to our house! The back of the house looks right out on the lake with floor-to-ceiling windows. Two living rooms both with TVs. We caught fish right off the dock with the poles and lures from the house. We didn't have time to get out on the water but the host provides self powered water craft. It looks like the house is situated on the lake in a low wake zone, so we didn't see speedboats zooming by. We stayed here while watching a theee day horse show at Tryon International Equestrian Center - a 20 min drive. And it is convenient to Spartanburg. A great house!"

"This place is AMAZING, I frequent rentals and this is by far the best bang for my buck, whoever designed this house did a fantastic job, nothing went without thought, it’s cozy, it immaculately clean, everything was perfect, the shower is amazing, we saw deer, we sat on the porch swing and enjoyed the sounds of nature, overall this place is a 10/10, I would definitely book a stay here again!! Loved it!"

"The house was in a great location, but it is need of some TLC. It needs to be deep cleaned and maintained better. The best features of the home were unusable. The jacuzzi was broken and dirty and pool was not cleaned at all. There were 4 barking pitbull dogs that the tenant living in the apartment on the property could not keep quiet at night. The real turn off though, was the warm friendly email I received prior to checking in about the noise ordinance and the threat of eviction if violated. This could be a great vacation rental with some better maintenance and more thorough cleaning. "

"Property is on a very nice setting on the lake. Kitchen seemed well stocked although I did not cook there. House was spacious and provided games and things to do. Cleanliness of the house especially the bathrooms was not good. The porches and outside areas were not maintained well. "
