The space
As you enter Harlo's Hideaway, you'll be met with high ceilings and an open floor plan. New hardwood flooring has been installed throughout, professional Bertazonni appliances enhance our beautifully remodeled chef’s kitchen, designer Blu Dot dining chairs fit comfortably around our large modern dining table and soft furnishings done our vintage real leather couch.
The living room is spacious with a large vintage sectional couch, with additional seating next to the fireplace on super soft feather down pillows. Board games are tucked away in a living room cabinet for endless hours of fun.
Off the living room you'll step onto one of two enormous decks. Enjoy the incredible vistas on our outdoor sofa - you can see both the Lake Arrowhead Woods and the desert of the San Bernardino Mountains all the way out to the Pinnacles. Be sure to pour yourself a glass of wine before sun down because the sunsets off this deck should be enjoyed to the fullest.
Off the main floor you'll find the house bathroom and two bedrooms. The first bedroom features a queen bed with hotel grade white sheets and the second bedroom includes a bunk bed with a reading corner already filled with books for young readers to pore over.
Upstairs on the third floor you’ll find the master bedroom. Enjoy the king bed with hotel grade white sheets, completely remodeled en-suite bathroom with rain shower head, and private balcony. There is a dressing table that doubles as a work space for those that need to work from home during the week. We also include your own water kettle and French Press coffee maker in the room so you can stay in bed even longer.
Leaving the master bedroom you’ll step into the loft, perfect for music lovers. This cozy space has mid-century armchairs and hosts our working 1970’s record player - bring your records and soak up the ambiance of our A-Frame House.
Downstairs on the bottom floor you'll find our “Blue Room”, a re-imagined game room/TV room, two more bedrooms, a remodeled bathroom and second deck.
The Blue Room comes with an upscale bar with barstools, pool table, Room & Board pull out couch and a Smart TV.
The first bedroom off the Blue Room has a queen bed with hotel grade white sheets and local photography of the San Bernardino Mountains.
The second bedroom has a custom built triple bunk bed with a kid cave. The kids will easily spend most of their time exploring this room. Whew!
Outside the Blue Room is another huge deck. Activities include two reclaimed wood swings and yard games including Corn Hole.

Please note:
1) Due to San Bernardino County rules, we can only accept ONE HOUSEHOLD at a time.
2) Lake Access has been restricted to OWNERS ONLY. Great ways to enjoy lake views are by visiting the Lake Arrowhead Village, or MacKay Park for a picnic and views. If you would like to enjoy boating you can by visiting McKenzie Waterski School in the Village.
During Winter:
When there is a snow storm, our street is NOT plowed. It very likely you will get snowed in. Bring your groceries with you and get ready to snuggle. This house was made for making memories and being snowed in is one for the books. We will provide a snow plow before you arrive and at the time of check out. If you need to leave before the end of your stay you can find the number for our local snow plow in the house book.
Firewood is not provided.
We have a gas fireplace, please be sure to turn off the gas once you have started your fire. Also always ensure you open the flue before starting any fire.
