"The room was cleaned and it wasn't dated. The parking is very convenient, and the location is excellent. The AC cools the room pretty quickly. The TV has cable. The staff was courteous and hospitable."

"I booked a vacation for myself and my girlfriend and purposely chose a room with a balcony and an ocean view. I wish that I could have seen a picture of the outside of the Hotel before booking. it would have shown that the building itself is a large 'L' shape and the middle of the 'L' is basically a very unappealing commercial rubberized roof 'wasteland' over a bunch of generators and vents etc. - it is QUITE unpleasant to look at, but it is the immediate view in front of every balcony on the inside of the 'L'. There are only 6 or 7 rooms in the entire hotel that have a true ocean view and those are the rooms at the very tip of the 'L' <--. The next few Hotels along the beach all have true ocean facing balconies and would have been a much better choice. Otherwise, the staff was extremely pleasant, and the room was cleaned well every day. The beach lounger rentals are ridiculously expensive ($90 for 2 loungers with an umbrella and close to $200 if you want one of those canopies). We usually like to spend a lot of time in the evenings relaxing on the balcony, watching the sunset etc., but the 'L' shape leaves you with a view of the other balconies and the horrendous rubberized roof and rusted compressor units. For that reason alone, I would choose one of the neighboring Hotels next time."

"Property has some deferred maintenance. Some outlets in room were not working, outlets by pool exposed. It’s a bit outdated. The breakfast was a one and done for us- slim pickings. The free parking was nice and they held a spot for us since we got in late. The check-in was slow but very friendly. Our room was right off the pool which was a perk since we had kids. It’s nice that you can still see the beach from the pool. Our biggest disappointment was when we were asked to leave the pool deck at 7:30 before dusk and the sun set. We had hoped to eat our dinner with a view, and since it wasn’t dusk, we thought we could. We did the first night without issue, but the second night, staff was less friendly and accommodating. Kind of a waste to be on pool level and not able to eat at the table just off our room. Convenient location to food, stores and beach. Definitely budget style stay, good for kids. I wish the pool bar was open, that would have been a perk! "
