Very comfortable room. The room was very clean and well furnished with a modern bathroom. The adjoining restaurant offered a good choice of evening meal. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

It was very nice except for 2 things: 1."free parking" means free on the street not at the property.Challenging for right sided drivers and tiny streets. 2. Internet very sketchy and drops continuously requiring continous re signing on and sometimes computer restarts. They are aware. Other than that, really nice place.

Two main points: First off -their food is AMAZING. Incredible restaurant. Second: The room we had was tiny. There wasn’t really room for our two big suitcases - so we had to get creative. The listing for the hotel showed a much larger room when we booked, so we weren’t expecting our room to be as small as it was. There’s also not much to do around there, so was thankful we only booked one night. We would not stay there again but would definitely eat there again.

Great stay as always, lovely modern, comfortable rooms. Complementary water, sky tv so can log into your Netflix, YouTube or I-Player. Breakfast is great. Overall great rooms in a great location with great staff and a great restaurant.

This lodging was a great surprise for us. The appartements are located behind the facade of the Waterfront restaurent in an alley. Everything was very clean, renovated with a friendly staff. Highly recommended.

De ligging is zeer goed, vlak in het centrum van Anstruther. De kamer zelf was ruim & proper. Maar de muren, plafonds en ramen waren enorm dun! De mensen boven ons maakten enorm veel lawaai ‘s nachts, we konden elke voetstap horen. Daarnaast waren er mensen tegen de deur van de inkom aan het slaan, wat weergalmde in de gang. Laat ons zeggen dat we geen goede nachtrust gehad hebben. Het ontbijt was wel dik in orde!

Very noisy in the old building in the back. While rooms have been updated nicely, the insulation in the walls and ceiling certainly was not. Whenever anyone walks around, the building creaks and groans like an old schooner in a storm. You can hear conversations and TVs in the adjacent rooms and above. We were treated to the BBC news until 1:30am and it started again at 6am. Breakfast was good as most reviews say. Otherwise, I am very surprised that more reviews don’t mention how noisy it is. Good from far, far from good.
