"Came with All my kids and grandkids. 16 Total. The house was so good to have wonderful bedroom/bath suites for everyone. The house is beautiful and richly appointed to match the Costa Rica rich landscape and character. We used the Large deck continuously with lots of room for our large family playing cards and eating. The highlight was having the swimming pool next to the deck and the kids were so entertained in it. It is a 25+ minute drive to La Fortuna but we would definitely book again."

"The family and Michael were all amazingly accommodating and very friendly. The place was spacious and the air conditioner worked amazingly well. Your backyard is literally an animal sanctuary with fantastic tours you can join in on. It is a very private cabin and away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close to the city. Nice cabin, not in La Fortuna itself...
"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep — there were a lot of ants/termites that appeared in our kitchen and a bad smell came up through the drain in the bathroom. It's also worth noting that despite the tranquil pictures the property is next to a busy road and you can hear the traffic throughout the night."
