This front line beach house is situated in Butibamba, La Cala de Mijas.
Four double bedrooms, south facing with fantastic sea views. This beach house has the option to cater for up to 8 people. There is a spacious lounge which provides TV /DVD & Free WIFI . The kitchen has full cooking facilities as well as a microwave oven. The house is fully air conditioned supplying hot and cold air. At the front of the house there is a sun terrace where you can dine al fresco looking out to sea, which is 7 meters away.
The rear terrace provides a washing machine and two 150 ltr water tanks ensuring sufficient water to cater for all your needs. On the first floor there is a balcony where you can relax, read a book or simply watch the boats go by. The house has a well stocked linen cupboard and ample beach towels.
Should you require a house clean whilst you are on vacation, this can be arranged.

A popular street market is held every Wednesday and Saturday on the large fairground site which becomes the venue for the annual fair and local fiestas which begin on 25th July.
La Cala de Mijas is also an excellent base from which to visit Puerto Banus, Marbella, Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Benalmadena and a trip to the beautiful Mijas Pueblo is a must. A bus service runs every 15 minutes which can take you to Fuengirola or Marbella from Cala de Mijas.

Restaurants
There are numerous restaurants in and around La Cala, most within easy walking distance or a short car ride away. Every taste is catered for; apart from the traditional Spanish fare including tapas and paella, international cuisine is available including Thai, Chinese, Indian, Italian to name but a few. The beachside chiringuitos serve amazing fresh fish and sea food that is cooked ‘espeto’ over hot coals; the result is delicious fresh food with amazing views.
Formal dining is also available at the El Oceano Hotel and the newly opened Olivia’s where music and dancing accompany a great meal.

Sports
There is an abundance of sporting and recreational facilities located nearby including golf, horse riding, tennis and seasonal water sports. Keen golfers are spoilt for choice with competition-standard courses at La Cala, Mijas Golf and El Chaparral. There are numerous other excellent courses in the nearby locality.

Great holiday
We have been to la Cala many times and stayed in many different types of accommodation I would say Casa Del Mar is probably one of the best for value for money and incredibly clean accommodation. I think it is best suited For 4-6 people.

Didn’t want to leave.
Lovely Beach house with great views, it’s impossible to get any closer to the beach and those calming waves lapping the shore. Only a short walk to the town centre with bars,cafes and restaurants within a 2 minute walk. Our stay was only a 5 day golf holiday but we all agreed we wanted to stay longer. Would highly recommend this Beach house for families or groups of friends.

Communication with Ian and Bruno was excellent. Bruno couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating on arrival and departure. Casa was excellent, all the amenities you’d need including aircon. Superb location, a short stroll to everything around La Cala. Although we didn’t try the beach/sea, a little too cold in early March, in the summer just a few steps from the door to the beach. Excellent all round

Fantastic house and location
6 friends on a golf holiday. The house was spacious and well equipped and easily catered for 6 adults. The location was perfect, 10 minutes stroll from the town centre. It sits on the promenade adjacent to the beach. We had hired 2 cars for the holiday and had no problem finding parking close to the house. Bruno provided us with everything we needed for check in and departure. I would highly recommend the house.

Fabulous property in a Fabulous location. This was our groups 2nd stay there. The finishing touches make all the difference as you have everything that you need for your stay. Upon arrival the fridge was full of drinks and milk. Everything was considered from napkins to washing tablets and everything else you may possibly need.

The most beautiful seafront stay with friends!
From the moment of booking Bruno and Ian made us feel we had made the right choice regarding accommodation and on arrival this was certainly clarified. The location is seriously beautiful as it is right next to the beach and the house it self was just perfect. It was super clean, well designed and had everything we needed and more! Little touches like beach towels and wine in the fridge say it all. Bruno was welcoming and then left us to it. He also allowed us to use the house until 4pm on day of departure due - which was absolutely fantastic. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Short break away
Had a 5 night break away with 5 friends. Property size was perfect/clean/modern along with the location where we were minutes away from shops, bars and restaurants and 10 metres from the beach which was great. Ian was a great host and very attentive. We normally stay around La Cala de Mijas and this was a great choice of property and will hopefully be back soon
