"We had an incredible stay at Lazy Bear cottage! The view was absolutely stunning, and the hosts Alexandra and the Mashaghati family thought of everything. The interior was spotless, with charming decor that made the space feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfy, and there were plenty of towels provided for both the hot tub and bathroom. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras like robes and slippers, which added a luxurious touch. After long days of exploring the beauty of Cape Breton, the hotter and fire pit on the porch were the ultimate way to unwind - peaceful, relaxing, and just perfect. "The house is located in a quaint and picturesque community off the beaten path. There is a lovely ocean breeze that cools the house down in the evening (if you are concerned about no air conditioning). We did not struggle to sleep in the evenings. The host is amiable and visited us as we were checking out. I mentioned that there was no coffee (only tea) and that there was no laundry detergent (to go along with the washer and the coffee maker). I grew up in the area, so I was able to find these items, but he thanked me for updating him and assured me this is something he would address.This was minor because the rest of the amenities were excellent. The beach is great for an evening stroll and there is ample sea glass for the beach combers out there. Overall, we loved our stay at the Fisherman's rest house. "
