"My husband and I stayed for a 7 night workcation. We worked for several hours and then explored Fukuoka the rest of the day. The hotel was able to accommodate our request for the longer desk with 2 chairs by the window. Desk was not super spacious, but roomy enough for 2 laptops and 2 portable monitors, plus note pads and phones. Wifi was good. Hotel few steps away from Akasaka train station and near many delicious dining options. Tenjin train station and Donki also easy to walk to in 10-15...

I booked here for 5 nights because of the swimming pool photos but left after the first night because pool way too small for actual swimming. Little kids would love it. "Nice Japanese boutique hotel within walking distance to town. Single storey Japanese style cottages or rooms (new wing) surrounded by Japanese gardens and features. 4-5 private in door and outdoor onsens to choose from. Delicious breakfast and for those with 1/2 board, the set dinner was very good with free flow of sake, coffee/tea and orange juice. Coffee/tea and orange juice also available at the reception lobby throughout our stay. Will stay again if visiting Yufurin in near future"

"Stayed two nights. Had a very nice room on the 12th floor. Check-in at 3:00 p.m. was fast and easy. Hotel was very modern and very tastefully decorated, and it has a very nice onsen (with sauna). I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, so I cannot comment on the food quality and service. The hotel is right next to Kumamoto Station; the station and the shopping mall below it offer some shops and a few restaurants, but otherwise, the area around the station is very quiet and businesslike. Overall, I quite enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel. Thank you!"
