Staff were very friendly and the room was cosy and had plenty of amenities. Hotel is in a good location, close to the main shopping districts and the park. Our only complaint would be that the TV was only Japanese live channels, not a smart TV, so the ability to log into Netflix or likewise would have been nice, otherwise there's nothing in English for tourists. Regardless, we would stay again.

This was such a cute little quaint hotel! The breakfast is the only thing I don’t think is worth it, especially considering it’s so close to many restaurants that you can just walk 10-12 minutes to the Nishiki market or the Terramachi market.

Great accommodation, and I would definitely book here at my next stay in Kyoto. Very close to popular areas such as Nishiki market, Kyoto Imperial Palace, and downtown shopping. Gion was also walkable. The hotel is beautiful, and the public bath was spacious and clean, with toiletries provided. The room was a good size, but difficult for anyone with large luggage. Removing clothes from luggage and putting it in the available closet was best for space. They offered luggage forwarding, which was very convenient.
