We loved this hotel because it was convenient, clean, and easy to access. The only thing that I would say that I didn’t like was the smoke smell on the area to enter the elevator because the smoke room was right next to it.

All about this hotel was good except for the size of the room. At least the one we got had absolutely no space to even open a suitcase. The bed took 90% of the space in the room. Other than that, location, service, and food would be its strongest points.

Loved that the property was in a great location, which was very walkable and easy to get to places. Train station was just a few minute walk, 7 eleven was just a 1 min walk. Very convenient and would highly recommend.

Pleasant Stay

Lovely hotel, within a short walk to the Kawaramachi-dori shopping district. The rooms are small, which is the norm in Japan. The hotel served free alcoholic drinks every evening which was nice. There was an indoor onsen, however we were unable to use it due to having tattoos.

Better comfort elsewhere for same class hotel..

The 3 bedroom layout was terrible. No space to walk for 2 people & it would be worse if there were 3. No amenities in the room upon checking in except for a boiler & cups. Everything has to be collected at the reception. They provide free coffee & soft drinks only on day of check in then on the 3 other days of our stay it was not available. Comfort is lacking in the room bcos of the layout & amenities like coffee & soft drinks is restrained but customer services is good. I would not recommend bcos it’s not worth the price I paid for.

The bed and bathroom were clean when we arrived but the rest of the room, especially the blinds, was very dusty. The rooms themselves were quite small, so even 2 people may struggle. It included a kettle but no tea or coffee in the room, and none obviously with the other amenities in the lobby. One of the lifts always smelled of cigarettes. The location of this hotel is its best selling point, being within 15-20 mins of Nishiki market and the Gion district. However for what we paid vs what we received, I would not stay here again
