"Big rooms, amenities bar, free luggage storage, great onsen with free popsicle after, breakfast buffet was amazing with lots of Japanese options. Great location and walkable to a lot of sightseeing areas very convenient by the bus and JR line. Would stay at this hotel again"

"I loved this hotel! It was located right in the JR station which was so very helpful when it took me a very long time to travel from Haneda airport in Tokyo to Hakodate via shinkansen. I was soooo relieved when I realized I didn't have to figure out where the hotel was, it was literally just right there! I lost my phone charger and cord in transit and they were kind enough to lend me one and give me directions to the nearest electronics store. I know a little bit of Japanese so that helped with the communication as they didn't know too much English. One super cool perk of this hotel is that they had what was called the pillow corner. In a part of the lobby there was an area where if you wanted a different pillow from the standard issue you could "shop" around in this super cool little pillow library. There were signs and labels indicating the softness and hardness level and displays showing what material was inside the pillow. It was soooo amazing! I like a harder pillow so I was happy to find one that fit my preferences. The hotel is so perfectly located right across the way from the morning market. Very convenient! And I could see Mount Hakodate from my window. I only stayed two days in Hakodate, it was my first time in Hokkaido and I split my trip between here and Sapporo. I really super enjoyed it and wish I had scheduled more time on my trip from this area. If I ever return I will definitely stay again at this hotel. Highly recommend!"

"Lovely hotel. Absolutely amazing breakfast (but very popular…. First hotel where there is a queue to get in at 6 am). A heads up would have been nice if we were told to bring our towels from our room to the onsen. Probably got lost in translation. But excellent hotel. "

"Excellent property in the hot spring district. Right next to public transportation ( train ). In house hot spring was very good, breakfast and traditional Japanese seafood dinner were excellent as well. Would happily come back."

"The rooftop onsen is so great at this hotel—there’s an infinity pool edge where you can look out into the horizon and sky that is so beautiful to see (there’s a section outside where you can lie down in the water; they also provide women towels to shield against the wind). I would come back to this hotel for this experience alone! The food was pretty good too—stand-outs include the scallop, amaebi, kanpachi, and the crab legs! As for my room, I splurged on the junior suite because of the tub—while soaking, you can look out the window and watch the clouds go by, a wonderful feeling. Lastly, the staff offered a welcome gift of dango—probably the best I’ve ever had. "

"Second time I stayed here (last year it was Flexstay Inn). The only issues were this spikey metal coil I found in the carpet and removed myself (not too bad), and the toilet seat dipped down on the left side when you sit down. Otherwise a perfect stay. Thank you!"

"Parking was taken care of by personnel who reserve a spot on arrival and during our stay there. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and full of choices in a spacious dining hall. Room was value for money. Location was good as access to city was easy. Staff at hotel was very helpful."
