"Everything was perfect, except for: shower gel dispenser was empty (refilled immediately), there wasn’t enough complementary bottled water in the room, and the lights were a bit tricky to work (and needed the room key in the socket to run them. "This is a great hotel for exploring the city. Location is ideal-just blocks from Central Station, Tivoli Gardens etc. We stayed in the standard rooms because we weren't really hanging about during the day. They were perfect for a girls trip as we each had our own room. The showers/bathrooms aren't very private so this was ideal for us. "

"We booked a triple room and we booked it for the spa. Unfortunately we were not able to uae the spa as it was fully booked and the triple room we had was so small and no room to move. Overall was a nice hotel but sadly rooms were too small and we wasted money on a spa hotel we couldnt use."

"The Strand is a wonderful hotel in Copenhagen. The location is absolutely fabulous- close enough to everything but situated just far enough to be quiet. And on the waterfront! The staff is friendly and helpful. The common areas are clean and comfortable, the hotel is not so large that there are crowds of people everywhere. The rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable- I was a solo traveler and had a standard room which was perfect, but if you are not solo definitely look at the larger rooms or suites. The pricing was quite fair and reasonable considering the location and quality. I would definitely stay here again."
