Everything about this place was great. Island itself, transportation, food, room, etc but the best was the friendliness of the staff and their genuine smiles. I will definitely go back and would recommend to anyone.

The hotel staff were lovely. Everyone was more than willing to help. Although we had shocking of weather on the island we found plenty of things to do.

This hotel clearly aims to make its guests having a comfortable stay. It not only provides free-of-charge coffee and a variety of herbal tea leaves, teapots and cups but also recipes for brewing different kinds of herbal teas depending on your needs such as relaxation etc. There are also free alcoholic drinks provided in the evening. Guests can make their own cocktail drinks. They even provide essential oils, burners and candles for guests to use in their rooms. The breakfast does not have many...

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. It was well located for easy access all over the island. The room itself was large and spacious, though the room for the toilet could've been a bit bigger especially for tall people. Room was spotlessly clean. Shower was good. The fact you can get a rope to string up on your balconly to dry towels, swimmers etc was very handy. They also have a laundry with washers & dryers at reasonable rates. Our room looked out to the ocean which was stunning....

the room is clean and comfy with breakfast included. free parking is available just less than 3 mins walk. the location is surrounded by shopping, restaurants and the port which u can catch the ferries to another island. overall it's the hotel that u need for holiday.

The hotel was super conveniently located in central ishigaki, the room was decent and the coin laundry was a great amenity. The room had lots of options for hanging items to dry (which was super appreciated given all the snorkelling to be done). They have complimentary drinks including awamori in reception in the afternoons which was a nice touch. There is also an onsite onsen (but did not get to use) only minor criticism was they had very limited hours for the pool, typically after a day...

The Breakfast Hotel lets you make your own smoothie in the morning. It's a winner for all guests. Overall a great hotel with an open bar for happy hour between 5 and 8pm. A couple of the parking spots could be better for lower ride cars. But generally parking is easy . Be aware of the one way street though! Would happily stay again.

I really enjoyed staying at hotel hoshitate. it's a great little hotel right on the beach run by a friendly family. the rooms are very clean and neat, the hotel serves delicious food, and Yuji the friendly owner speaks perfect english. i travelled solo and there were a couple of others also by themselves so you don't feel out of place like you can in other places. i recommend staying on iriomote island for a couple of days to really enjoy the beautiful nature it has to offer. ...
