Our stay was an absolute delight. We booked on Expedia with no expectation and were very surprised when we arrived. The room was very spacious with a very comfortable king bed and swim out pool. Tip: eat at the local restaraunts on the beach because they have amazing seafood for very reasonable prices.

Bangsak Village is in a beautiful setting with amazing gardens. The pool is lovely with beach right in front. It is a very relaxing place with wonderful staff who go out of their way to help you. Rooms are tastefully decorated with plenty of room to stretch out. Outside sitting area was lovely too facing the gardens.

Resort was perfect in every way, our arrival very late 2.30am,staff very most helpful, and made us feel it was of no trouble what ever the time was! Suite was very comfortable, great having ironing board & iron. Pool incredible lots of time spent at Swim-up-bar. All staff need to be congratulated, never an un-smiling face. Olive Restaurant was our favourite, Pittays Suppanarm Executive Sous Chef, was incredible, best duck I have had in a long time. All other Restaurants were very good....

The room was reasonably clean

Booked a pool suite for 9 nights, wished we'd stayed longer. Excellent real boutique resort. Service is spot on and not over the top. Room amazing. Resort set amongst rainforest styled gardens, lots of wildlife. Beach clean and easily accessed. Each meal was an amazing experience. Well worth it. Up side, no children allowed under 10. This made for the ultimate couples relaxation stay.

Loved the atmosphere at this hotel because it was so peaceful all the time. The staff were always very helpful and the spa was fantastic. The eating options were good but the room service options were a bit limited. The deluxe pool room suite was perfect because it was great to be able to access the pool and sun bathe from the comfort of your room. The location right by the water was also fantastic and I can't wait to go back!

3 families gathered together for 10 days from different parts of the world. Children aged 4 to 20. There was so much for all of them to do , they didn’t want to leave the resort. Many great restaurants within walking distance 3 different pools including the best water park for the small children And a great kids club for the few wet days we had. Can’t recommend it highly enough The only problem we had was the beach was closed so unable to swim in the surf as it was so rough.

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every day. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are well looked after, the bed was super comfy and the spa is a must at this hotel. The price is a little more than you can find elsewhere but you get what you pay for. Can see why they won the best spa in the world. We had 2 spa treatments and my only regret is that i had to leave and could not have more. Would recommend this hotel it is a little pricey but was a perfect end to the holiday.

This resort is superb. Although the New Year gala buffet needs major improvement and better management, this resort is excellent and exemplary. The staff are a credit to the Resort, they are without exception unfailingly polite and friendly. Everything about this resort is exemplary from the amenities, the clean tidy and modern comfortable rooms, the attractive and delicious breakfast buffet, and the appealing and inviting pool layout through the resort. We are a retired Australian couple and we have stayed at the hotel twice in the last 3 months. We went with a Luxury Escapes package for 8 nights and it was so good we returned for 4 nights on our way back from Europe. the hotel is good value for money and offers a great breakfast in the nightly rate.

Beautiful hotel. It's authentic style and decor of Asia made you feel like you where in the heart of Thailand and didn't need to leave the front gates. Outstanding location of pool and beach. Great value.... was sorry to leave.

Close to the Khao Lak action, Motive Cottage is on the "highway" through town, across the road from the "Main Street" where many shops and restaurants are to be found. So while there is highway noise (nicely masked by the pool's waterfall), you don't get the noise of the massed crowds that likely run from dusk to dawn - but the location is perfect, because you can easily head over the road if that's your thing too!
