Excellent great value clean rooms. Bathroom in every room ac optional for each room. Owners Gina and George are lovely and super helpful …. Will arrange a driver or local events. ….even took me to the bus stop. Forte Cochi is great for art lovers and central for other Kerala tourist trip as 1 to2 hours to either Munnar tea plantation, Alleppy Backwaters and Athrippally Waterfalls! Fully recommend this great home stay.
We loved our stay at Bastian Homestay.. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The owners were very helpful and nice all the time. The location was perfect for us. We could walk everywhere easily. Absolutely a perfect stay.
Best homestay at the Fort. Good location, good facilities, best staff and owner. Helped us go on a boat trip, and after checkout went with us and the taxi to show us the way to a nearby hotel to pick up a friend to the airport. Loved Kochi, loved Bastian.
We loved our stay in Kochi. Really worth for the price and a really good breakfast. I would recommend
We went back to Kochi and they were fully booked but they have managed to find us another homestay of very good quality.
We arrived very early in the morning after a 24 hour delayed flight and were greeted on the doorstep by the owners.
They honestly couldn’t do enough for us. Helped us book train tickets and organise a taxi for our onward journey after staying for three nights.
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet.
Location convenient for Fort Kochi, town was in walking distance.
We would definitely stay here again.
This budget homestay was clean, has helpful owners and provided a decent breakfast at very reasonable rates. My bathroom was new with modern fixtures and the rooms looked freshly painted. The owners live in a separate building opposite and are on hand if needed. There was loud music going on the second night of stay, but it cut out at midnight. It is a bit of a walk to the foreshore hub (less than 1km) but at that price who could complain.
I booked through hotels.com for two nights then extended my stay by a further three.
It's a little difficult to find at first because the homestay is down two ally's- but it's not impossible- just look out for the sign of the homestay and follow the arrows- it's very easy once u get there :)
Homestay itself is lovely/ nice family, cute daughter and the rooms are safe.
I even left my luggage in my room for 48 hours whilst I went down south for a bit and when I came back my room was untouched :)
I didn't have the breakfast but I can only assume it would be nice :)
Highly recommend this homestay
