"The room was clean and a good size. The location was good ….right across the street from the Kyoto Station. The station had many restaurants to choose from. We found our favourite for sushi and sashimi where we had dinner 5 nights. The Gion district is a cab ride away. My surprise was how few Japanese people spoke any English even in the hotels. The translator App was a necessity."

"Pros: - The rooms were spacious compared to most Japanese hotel rooms. It was nice to have a more traditional tatami style room. - The breakfast buffet had an incredible selection to choose from. There’s a bit of a wait depending on when you go, but it goes rather quickly. - Late night unlimited ramen from 9pm-11pm was also a nice touch. We loved being able to eat a light meal after a long day of exploring. - Onsen access is really nice, with massage chairs available for use. And unlimited ice cream every night was also really delicious. Cons: - Having guests take off their shoes at the lobby makes the place smell like feet. It’s pretty gross since it was raining when we were there so it was a mix of wet socks and feet stench. They should at least require that people wear hotel rooms slippers. - The onsen was really dirty from the amount of people that would use the facilities. It was overcrowded and packed during the night time. Overall, I’d stay at this hotel again, but refrain from using public facilities. It’s almost impossible to keep the public areas clean and free of smells since there are so many guests."

"Our room was big with a well sized bathroom and an amazing view of the city. The staff were all really helpful and the location of the hotel was ideal - literally right above the JR Namba station and about a 10 minute walk to the main bit of Dotonbori. The views at breakfast were amazing, and I think this is one of the best hotel breakfasts that I've had - so much choice, even for a vegetarian! We really enjoyed our stay here."

"Excellent Location and a Wonderful Stay in Osaka! We had a great stay at this hotel in Osaka for 4 nights! The location was fantastic, with three train stations nearby, making it incredibly convenient to explore the city. Dotonbori was also just a comfortable 20-minute walk away, which was perfect for enjoying the food, shopping and atmosphere. The area felt safe, and the convenience of getting around made our stay stress-free. A special mention to Hikari Restaurant, which was absolutely wonderful and added to our overall experience. Overall, a great choice for anyone visiting Osaka, especially families looking for a safe, convenient location with easy access to public transport and the city's main attractions. We would happily stay here again!"
