Hana-Maui Resort, a Destination by Hyatt Residence
10/10 Excellent
"The oldest hotel on Maui. Beautifully manicured grounds, very peaceful. Our room was quite sizable in one of the cottages.
Quite pricey, but as it is remote and you get the 5* experience despite the fact that you can see the hotel isn’t the most modern. Overall wonderfull and very friendly staff!"
Paradise: Ocean View Cottage Solar Power Tropical Flower Gardens
10/10 Excellent
"We loved this property! So peaceful and relaxing. Everything you will need for a restful vacation is here. Terry and Michael are terrific hosts! They shared their knowledge of the garden/Maui life with us! The cottage is surrounded by gorgeous tropical plants and trees! So relaxing! The interior is beautifully decorated and stocked with everything you will need to prepare meals. We enjoyed having coffee each morning looking out at the ocean while sitting in the living room area with the doors open listening to the birds, a great way to start the day!The cottage is located near Hana, the black sand beach, plus a few more beaches we visited on several occasions and a number of neat places to stop for burgers, pizza, ice cream, smoothies and more! If you're looking to unwind and relax in a tropical environment, this cottage is for you! We enjoyed our stay and if we make it back to Maui, this will be our go to home away from home!"
"Just absolutely stunning. Beautiful views and everything that you need to make for a luxurious getaway. Great layout of the property to ensure everyone has their privacy. Loved falling asleep to the gentle breezes, lite rains, and waking up with an unobstructed view of the valley below. Close to makawao town for shopping and dining and just far enough away from everything else to make it feel like a true getaway. "
Amazing Hana Bay Beach Cottage Location! 5-Minute Walk to Hana town & beaches!
10/10 Excellent
"We spent a long weekend at the Elua Cottage and it was so relaxing! It’s stocked with all of the essentials. It has amazing ocean views and even my 6 yr old was sad to leave. Ocean breeze and the sound of the waves all night were so nice. It really is a gem of a place to call home base while exploring Hana. Easy to find, even after dark. Well definitely stay again!"
"What a wonderful time we had!! Gorgeous location. While the deck is connected to Mercury’s home, the stay is super private. Sam and Mercury were generous and kind with provisions, local recommendations and fruit from their property. We were treated with a rainbow the first and last night of our stay! Loved all the critter noises (frogs, birds, etc), sleeping with the open air and waking up to the sunrise. Cooking on the outdoor kitchen was a dream. Great walking distance (1m) to a local farmstand with coffee, fresh fruit and baked treats. Perfect base camp for local trips to National Park, Hamoa Beach, and Black Sands. "
