"We were traveling with 2 other couples. We all reserved 1 bedroom units. We were all upgraded to 2 or 3 bedroom units, which was nice but only two of us were in close proximity. We were near the bottom of the hill and the other couple was at the very top. It would have been nice if we could have all been together. The rooms were nice, the only complaint I have is the AC unit above the bed in the main bedroom was quite noisy. The staff was very friendly and we loved the full refrigerator and stocked kitchen. Having laundry in the unit was also great. The grounds were beautiful and it is easy to go down the stairs to get to the ocean. We were able to walk into town very easily. All in all, we all enjoyed our stay here. I was not prepared to have roosters waking me up at 6:40 but it was cool seeing all of the chickens all over the place."

"If you’re staying here, I want you to manage your expectations. This is not a fancy hotel for the price you’re paying It is amazing. I really like that. They have a Wii in their lobby, a really good water dispenser, and lavender infused towels. If you want to visit Maui on an affordable budget, this would be the hotel. The activities area at the Center courtyard had Jenga, connect four and a pool. I strongly do not recommend going into the water at the beach there since it’s in the harbor. There are a lot of other better beaches you can go to in Maui that aren’t too far away if you’re from the mainland. The main attraction is the price on being centrally located. The restaurant attached to the hotel is a local favorite for at least three generations now. And as a Strong reminder to anyone who wants to visit Maui on a budget it doesn’t get better than this."

"Overall we had a wonderful stay as we visited on a family vacation with our 3 children. Staff were very friendly, pool was great, beautiful location! I will say though that the beds were horribly uncomfortable. My husband had to quite literally sleep on the couch cushions placed on the ground as the bed was extremely hard, shook constantly due to any movement. I slept on the bed with our baby and didn’t sleep well the entire week. This is the only issue we had as the matttess topper also was breaking apart if moved at all and looked extremely old and the mattress also appeared very old and stained. Other than this issue we did have a wonderful stay but I’m not sure if I would return due to this issue as we struggled with back pain from the beds. I also felt the pictures didn’t accurately portray the suite as all the photos showed beautiful big walk in showers however our was a tub. Overall not a big issue but felt a bit misleading."
