"The breakfast was endless spotless and plentiful. The staff, especially the front desk, friendly, helpful, polite. No matter what they were asked to do a can-do attitude. They changed our room immediately to a handicapped accessible room. I gave you accommodations only four stars because there was a recent renovation that had some glitches with the handicapped bathroom."

"I recently stayed at this hotel. The location is great but we had a small hiccup the first night. There was an odd/bad smell in the room. We asked to change rooms and couldn’t do it until the following day. I got clean sheets to try to help the situation. The woman at the desk at night was very helpful and understanding. I had asked the following day AND at check out if I can be compensated anything for the first night since it was not up to par and I was told yes. It was my fault for not following through but I was then charged the entire amount for the room and I don’t believe I should have been."

"So disappointed with the customer service. After Spirit Airlines cancelled our trip, we were able to recover everything except for our hotel stay. We tried. Expedia tried on our behalf. The hotel refused to cooperate. Even with a weeks notice, they would not refund our stay. We travel to Brooklyn 9-10 times a year and we’re looking forward to this convenient location. We will never stay here. "

"So this was my first time staying at Tru by Hilton. The room was pretty small, but it was clean overall. Unfortunately, there was a stain on my blanket, and although I waited for it to be replaced, no one ever came. The walls also weren’t very well insulated, so it was difficult to sleep because you could hear doors slamming, people outside, and cars driving by throughout the night. On the positive side, the lounge and breakfast area were really nice, and the breakfast itself was pretty good. The biggest issue besides the noise was parking — the lot was completely full, and it was extremely difficult finding a space. Most of the available parking nearby was paid parking."
