"Check in - fantastic. Lovely service. Delightful manners - couldn’t have been better. Breakfast - is great. Perhaps a little slow today - but again the staff are so well trained - it’s an attentive experience. If you’re going up the east coast on the train - and need a hotel straight off the train. This is the one. Yes, a bit pricey - but for us it’s perfectly located."

"We stayed one night before a 9am Eurostar. The room was quiet and relaxing with comfortable beds and a well designed bathroom. Storage was good and electrical points everywhere. The hotel bars and restaurants were exemplary and wonderful places to hang out. Breakfast was spectacular and it was a joy to be able to leave the hotel almost directly to Eurostar check in. The spa experience was a little mixed. It felt very busy in the pool area and was noisy so wasn’t actually pleasant to relax in...
