About this property
Sandy yard that backs to the Beach! Walk to town -Lakefront on the Beach
Whitecaps Lakefront is a truly awe-inspiring lakefront condo with it's own private sandy beach space that you do NOT want to miss! It offers the modern Tahoe-traveler a perfect balance of luxury and convenience, as the heart of King's Beach surrounds this cozy lakefront oasis. It's happiest travelers will appreciate it's walkability to endless restaurants and attractions; the biggest attraction (of course) sits right out the back door! HINT: It's Lake Tahoe!
The condo has been recently remodeled and updated with all new furniture and amenities, and is sure to impress. A gorgeous stone hearth and gas fireplace greet you as you enter, welcoming you to this comfortable space. But beyond the fireplace lies something even more magnetic! We wouldn't blame you if headed straight for the backyard upon arrival, to stick your feet in the sand and look over the crystal blue waters of Lake Tahoe.
An updated kitchen sits adjacent to the comfortable living space. Down the hall lie the home's two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other, the primary suite with a King and ensuite bathroom. A secondary bathroom and laundry room accompany them.
In the winter, ski lease tenants will appreciate that you're less than 10 miles from Northstar, and just over 15 miles from either Palisades Tahoe (Formerly Squaw Valley) AND Mt. Rose Ski Resort for world-class skiing in all directions. And in the summer, you may not even have to move your car to enjoy Tahoe to the fullest, as this condo sits right on the beach. Among other things, the best pizza in town is a stones throw away. "Whitecap's Pizza" is so good we named this condo after it! Vacation here and you'll be coming back year after year... it's proven that you don't have to forgo breathtaking lakefront amenities and gorgeous sprawling lake-views when looking to stay in a convenient locale!

This little condo was a pleasant surprise for our quick family getaway. The condo is conveniently located, clean, and well equipped. The back yard sells itself! We would definitely book again.

Lake Tahoe beachfront condo
Great place with beautiful views! It is on the shore of Lake Tahoe with private access to the beach. The double sliding glass doors provide views of the lake and mountains. It is a few steps from Whitecaps Pizza which is wonderful. The kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed. There is some noise from the neighbors early in the morning so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. Otherwise, a near perfect place to stay.
We were very comfortable in this well-stocked condo. It was a bit closer to the pizza restaurant than you can tell from the pictures, which does create some night noise. It was great to have a coffee shop at the end of the building, though. Only possible complaint is that the windows need black out curtains because of the parking lot lights.
The best part really is the view and being on the beach. The unit was super nice and clean beach vibe place. We loved the gas fireplace that was on a thermostat! Kitchen was stocked extremely well, linens and pillows were really nice.
The mgmt company on checkout does want you to strip the beds, start a load of laundry and the dishwasher, along with the usual taking out the trash. Seemed a bit much. Also weird thing - super cheap toilet paper and they say in their contract they only leave 2 rolls per bathroom. Very bizarre thing to cheap out on. THe obnly negative on the actual condo side is super small bathrroms and showers.
But bonus points for fast wifi, parking spot right in front of condo door, a great pizza/italian restaurant next door and a great coffee/espresso shop 50 FEET FROM THE FRONT DOOR!
100% will try to book this unit next time in Tahoe.
The location was great. Easy access to the beach. Restaurants were within walking distance. The condo itself was a bit dated and in need of new bathrooms. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.
Property was in a great location. Right out the back door is the beach. I found it was also accurately described as well. Only complaint was the noise lev from th
The house was cozy and comfortable. It has a great deck and steps away from the lake. The only drawback was that the people in the unit above us were loud and heavy footed.
I had this unit reserved in February for my birthday, but had to cancel due to weather. This time the weather was perfect and so was this lovely place right on the beach thanks! I plan on coming again in the summer and then hopefully sometime in the winter months
Property was nice and clean. bottom floor so we had noise from above which was should be expected I guess. No A/c which which we found was not uncommon for the area. would recommend a you tube tv subscription for the condo.
This property made for a great stay in Lake Tahoe. The backyard and beach access is as pictured which was great. The back porch made a great place for a coffee in the morning and a cold beer in the evening. The kids enjoyed volleyball and softball in the sand in the backyard and adjacent sandy area (we brought the toys). They actually made friends each night with the various kids dining at White Caps Pizza next store (the pizza was great by the way, the kids wanted to eat it every night). The beach access was by gate code only which helped keep the traffic down on that area of the beach. The house has a closet with beach chairs, umbrella, and beach toys for the kids. We read some reviews that talked about noise from the pizza place in the evenings. We were there mid-week, in mid-summer, and did not have any issues with noise. We wish the place had AC but knew it did not going in. Opening the windows and screened in back doors helped keep it cool (but we are from Texas and like our cool AC). The location is right in the middle of Kings Beach, close to shopping, dining, and the grocery store. Ice cream and mini golf right down the street made for a fun night one of the nights. The place is also close to many beautiful beaches like Sand Harbor and Hidden Beach, we recommend a visit to each but read up on parking, reservations, and access in advance, especially during the busy summer. Would definitely stay here again.
Winter or summer, you won't be disappointed! The views are amazing and although we were there in the beginning of what would be one of the deepest snow seasons in the Sierra's, it did not disappoint. The beach is only a few steps away for amazing sunrises and sunsets.
The condo is very nice with new furnishing throughout. The kitchen could use some basic items (oil, aluminum foil, etc) but otherwise nicely equipped. The washing machine wasn't working but the management company was in contact with the owner, and we did some troubleshooting but couldn't get it working. I will give them a pass, as it was beginning of an epic week-long blizzard and I felt they had more important things to do (but felt they would have handled it immediately otherwise).
We would definitely stay here again and appreciate TahoeMoon Properties trying to accommodate us when our flight got cancelled for weather.
This property is as advertised. Location, Location, Location! Not only a great place to stay in with all the comforts of your own home but the location is perfect for direct access to the lake from your very own beach! Walking distance from all the restaurants, bars and shopping. The Rite Pharmacy across the street is very handy as they offer many different items and there is a Safeway grocery store two blocks west. The other convenience is Highway 267/I-80 to Reno is one block to your West for easy access to Reno if needed. My wife and I saw the band "Lord Huron" at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino and it was an easy journey there and back. The washer and dryer were handy except for the dryer does not dry. Maybe the dryer vent is clogged....not sure. Overall two thumbs up and 5 stars!
This was a wonderful place to stay with my husband and our two friends visiting from out of state. We all loved it. Condo was clean, quiet, comfy, and well stocked. My only complaint would be the dryer definitely did not dry clothes in a timely manner, but it wasn’t a big deal. Everything else was well kept and the view and beach access were amazing!!!
