As far as the hotel goes, the staff are very kind and accommodating, there are several shops on the bottom floor, you’re able to purchase local goods at the front desk and there is an amazing kimono shop one block away called Aridayagofuku where you can buy very high-quality textiles, local jewelry, and seasonal kimono. "Great experience. Location is great. Quiet and warm atmosphere. Dinner was well prepared. You have to sit down on tatami for dinner, but low chairs available. After meals, we were invited to the meditation. Morning service at 6:30 was a great way to start the day. Very nice atmosphere and it is run well. I do highly recommend."
