Independent in Key Largo

"Thankfully, we only stayed one night. On one hand we liked the location and seeing the boats coming in and out of the docking area just outside of the room was nice. However, the inside of the room we had is just worn down and is overdue for a refresher. Also, the first time we went to take showers, it took 15 minutes for the water to warm up. The second time we went to take showers it was only cold water. Most disappointingly when we were checking out the staff at the desk asked “how my stay was” and when I said we were disappointed with the shower experience, he brushed it off without an apology or finding a way to make me happy as a customer. With all that in mind, it’s just not worth the cost. I would recommend looking elsewhere."

"StFf was friendly, location was great, right on the water. Close to restaurants. Breakfast was ok."

"Room is in poor condition all but the bed. The bed was very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was not the same floor height, tile was missing grout, water pressure in the shower was very poor and would go hot to cold to hot to cold again. TV is very small. Very few power outlets. Very few furnishings in the room."

"We absolutely LOVED our stay at Drift Hotel and were bummed we arrived late and had to leave early. We would have stayed ALL week there! The property was adorable, the quirky, humorous information/rules/reminders were fun, the room was VRBO-ish, not hotel-ish, the front desk was great, the view on the water was wonderful. 11/10 would totally recommend. Everything was clean, quiet, fabulous!"
