Resort and Marina are an excellent choice for traveling thru or staying a few nights. Close to Taveneir and Islamorada for various things to do outiselde the resort as well. Pool welcoming for children, Tiki Bar staff amazing with great choices to choose from and delicious too! My girls n I had an amazing time!

The room was small but comfortable. Although housekeeping did not clean the room during my stay, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was average, but the service was good. Overall, it is a nice place for a short vacation and is conveniently located close to Miami. We had a pleasant and relaxing stay and would consider returning in the future.

It’s more a motel , the floors were dirty, our feet were black when we went to bed. Ugh. Saturday evening was very loud, band and like a carnival. Beach was small and crowded. The public had access to everything. Not my favorite place or beach. I won’t come back.

I loved everything, all areas are clean, but the public bathroom needs some cleaning work. Besides that, everything was better than I expected. We rented a boat for an hour with captain Kevin, and he showed us the area. We saw some dolphins. The food and drinks are delicious. There’s music all day. Great place for a weekend getaway

Clean room, shared patio with view of boats/water. Lunch was good and friendly staff. Pool area is quite small. Could also use more seating in the beach area and clean the water. We opted for the gated area which had a more private setting and more comfortable seating. Bar staff was friendly and helped us find sports on the tv. Had the continental breakfast before checking out.

We had a pleasant stay at the resort. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and the balcony opens directly toward a beautiful pier, which was a highlight of the stay. The private beach adds to the relaxing atmosphere and makes the experience feel exclusive. Breakfast was simple and had limited options, mainly bread, bagels, and yogurt, which could be improved. Overall, it’s a nice place to unwind, especially for the views and beach access.

We had a wonderful stay at Gilbert’s Resort. Although the weather was unusually chilly during our visit, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They were incredibly accommodating and attentive, creating a welcoming atmosphere despite the unexpected cold snap. Their positive attitude and helpfulness truly made a difference and turned what could have been a disappointing weather experience into a very enjoyable stay. We truly appreciated the level of service and would gladly return.
