Lovely 3 bedroom bungalow in Keswick with gardens and ample off road parking
Pinecroft is a lovely detached bungalow with 3 bedrooms and is eclecticly furnished to create a relaxing ambiance for all to enjoy after a day exploring the Lake District or just staying in and reading a good book. Accommodation consists of large open plan kitchen / diner with lots of natural light and stunning views plus a small TV, The spacious living room has a lovely 'log effect' gas fire. There are 2 doubles and one single bedroom, Master bedroom has a small ensuite with shower and also a small wall mounted TV. The main bathroom has a lovely and very high quality steel bath plus a large 'walk in' shower. A regular comment from many guests is that Pinecroft feels like a home. Situated in a nice residential area Pinecroft provides plenty of privacy. Outside you will find a long driveway with parking for 3+ cars. There is also an EV charging facility. There are mature gardens all around with large patio areas on different levels. There is a purpose built BBQ area and also a bike shelter with secure anchor points. There are a few water features including a lovely fish pond which is less than 3' deep and surrounded by shrubs. Views from the patio and the dining room are wonderful as you look west over Keswick to towards Grisedale Pike where the sun sets. The main large level patio area extends from the driveway up to and around the property, this is a major improvement with beautiful new slip resistant paving making the access step free (see photo's) and much easier for those with mobility concerns. There are plenty of seating areas to enjoy. The main garden / patio area gets afternoon and evening sunshine.

Transport... Conveniently and just about 100 meters away is a bus stop where you can catch a bus to take you into town or further west and, just abit further and around the corner there is another bus stop for those wanting a day trip to the South Lakes, Ambleside etc.

The cottage was a lovely base for us to stay during our visit to the lakes. It all felt very homely, in a very peaceful location, and was fully equipped for everything we needed. Fab views from the property as well. We would definitely stay again!
A lovely property with plenty of spsce in the house, outdide the house and in terms of parking. Within walking distance of central Keswick, host met us on arrival and was helpful with information, showing us round the house and advising on places to eat. House is beautifully maintained and well stocked with kitchen equipment.
Clean, quiet location in Keswick. Nicely furnished. Easy access to walking in the Lake District and a 20-25 minute walk from town center, which is a great option when the roads are choked with traffic.
Lovely comfortable bungalow in really good location. Loved that we could walk to Keswick along the disused railway track. Easy to get around by car or bus from the house.
Lovely property just on the outskirts of Keswick, an easy walk to the pubs and shops along the old railway line. The bungalow is spacious and a teal home from home, very comfortable!
A wonderful cozy, clean and very well equipped bungalow! Took in-laws with mobility problems and the access and walk in shower was great.
Roger was quick and easy to communicate with and met us to explain everything for check in. Had a fantastic few days in the Lakes.....just breathtaking as always!!
We absolutely loved staying at Roger’s home in Keswick! The three of us had plenty of room, all of the amenities we needed, and a beautiful garden courtyard to spend time together. It is a nice walk on a footpath to town, and a short distance to the Castlerigg Stone Circle. Roger was very helpful and gave us great recommendations for our stay in this gorgeous area. We hope to get back there again!
Absolutely gorgeous bungalow, perfectly situated for strolling into Keswick and with glorious views out of (almost) every window. Perfect for people with access needs and extremely comfortable. Roger the owner is friendliness and charm itself snd makes you feel very welcome.
Stayed outside Keswick many times but first times staying in Keswick.
Bungalow was perfect.
If you want somewhere comfortable spotless and with everything you need for your stay pinecrofts is the place
. Nothing else to say.
Roger was perfect host.
We shall return
Couldn’t have been better. The property had everything you could need. We loved the well stocked board game cupboard and sky tv!
It was really clean & cozy. The garden space looked lovely - unfortunately we arrived in December so couldn’t enjoy it but I imagine in summer it would be perfect. Good views from the property. It’s about 15 minute walk into Keswick, but a few minutes drive.
We will definitely book again!
Loved the property and location and the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay immensely. Only problem with the holiday was being able to communicate with the property management company as they could not contact us as they had wrong email information. It did not matter in the end as we spoke to the property owner and he was very helpful and obliging.
On arrival we were greeted by the owner who gave us some helpful information about the cottage and surrounding area. We stayed here for 6 nights whilst on a hiking trip. The directions to the cottage were spot on and the cottage itself was clean with good facilities especially for walkers/cyclists as there was an outside area for bikes and muddy shoes, clothing. The cottage had a washer/dryer, wifi, sky, good basic equipment in the kitchen and the bedrooms were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom had a lovely shower and bath tub too. Keswick is just a 20 minute walk/5minute drive and the views surrounding the cottage were stunning. This was a great area central to everywhere we visited and there were good facilities in the town including supermarket, nice pubs/cafes and shops. We would definitely stay again.
We had a great stay in Keswick at this property. The house is a short walk from the centre of the town and also near an entry point into the Keswick to Threlkeld cycle path which is a great walk along the river and away from from the traffic.
The property was just what we needed. Well equipped, spacious and with a good outside space which was used as we had some good weather. The front of the house is near a main road, but sitting in the lounge at the back you couldn’t hear any road noise. The drive way at the back of the house has plenty of space (could probably fit 4 standard sized cars) so parking for the 2 cars we had was ample.
Lovely property, would certainly look to rebook here if/when we head back to The Lakes.
Communication with the owner when needed was first rate.
Despite the rain we had a fantastic time in this excellent property. Well equipped and maintained professionally. My wife has limited mobility and was able to move around the property using sticks and a walker with no issues. The large bathroom has a walk-in shower which she could easily use with a shower seat as she was able to walk right up with the walker. There is seating outside on the patio which is also accessible and a shallow slope from the drive to the property. The surrounding area is stunning and we didn’t need to travel too far to find places to visit. Keswick Pencil Museum, Theatre by the Lake, Derwent Water and the railway walk were very close and well worth a visit. The owner was easily contactable and flexible with our checking out time which was really helpful. Highly recommended.
A very well stocked comfortable house with everything you need for a holiday. The garden was really lovely too with lots of nice plants and seating areas. There is a great games cupboard we didn’t even get time to use. The house is a short walk to Keswick along the old railway line and close to lots of other great walks. We had a really lovely time there.
Lovely bungalow which gives a home from home feeling, the owner Roger met us at the property when we arrived and was very informative. Ideal for visiting different places in the area and also lovely walks straight from the door. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it as a place to stay.
