If you’re craving lake days, Bassenthwaite Lake (0.7 mile) is ideal for gentle walks, wildlife watching, and wild swimming, with options for sailing, rowing, kayaking and canoeing too. If you’re in the mood for some pampering, book yourself a treatment at Armathwaite Hall Spa (1 mile). Or head to the Lake District Wildlife Park (1 mile), and experience a fun filled day out in a beautiful setting.

    On arrival, there is step-free access to the front door and into the single-level, beautifully presented abode. From the hallway, you’ll find the well-equipped kitchen.
