A bit of a throwback to another time. A real key, not a card, a couple of gas grills. Reasonable cost for a clean room. Close enough to the lake and downtown.

I initially picked here because of the pool for my 5 year old. But there was no water in the pool. Other than that it was great.

Only stayed 1 night with my boyfriend and 3 friends over may long. We all had a great time. Lovely outdoor area, rooms were great, super clean and staff were so friendly! Definitely will come back!!

Room is a bit dated, but beds and pillows are super comfy. Air conditioner also dated , but it worked well , and was loud enough to block out any room noise ! Would return :)

We just finished Playing in the BC Provincial Masters at Kelowna Badminton Club and we stayed in Recreation Inn & Suites. For the value that we paid it is worth the money. Don't expect 1st class rooms or amenities. But is you are out for most of the day and just need a place to sleep then it's OK!

The building itself is quite run down, in need of a face lift. The rooms are as clean as can be with what they have to work with. I think a coat of paint inside and out would go a long way. The breakfast was average. However, quite sufficient. Price is quite reasonable. Was very quiet , which was nice. Parking was very tight, and lacking a spot for every room.

Rated cleanliness down not because it was dirty so much as too agressively cleaned. In breakfast area both mornings of my stay staff was spraying everything and cleaning during service time. They were cleaning table I was sitting at while I was eating, sanitizing the service utensils and spots that were in contact with food, etc. I am sure that we were getting chemicals in our food as a result. Also although the breakfast was "free" eggs were like hockey pucks, only white bread available, and nothing fresh.
