"We were there for two nights only we did not use facilities as we were out all day for wedding ceremonies. Staff were friendly and professional. Family room looked nice. Only downside was lots of small moths in the room at night and few spiders. Also bathroom sink tap was dirty had to wipe clean."

"I booked this hotel as we went to the North East Dog festival to compete in one of the dog shows and this was the only hotel that allowed dogs. Absolutely wonderful staff and lovely to our dog. They didnt have their usual dog bowls due an order issue but provided alternatives. We could sit for breakfast in a designated area with our dog which was very helpful. They were fab would highly reccomend"

"Staff very professional and attentive, the room itself was immaculate! Great vibe in the bar. We were there as a big party with the bridal party, and mother/father of both the bride and groom, as well as many close family friends. We all had an amazing time. Highly recommend!"

"For what must be an older hotel, the amenities are excellent, modern and well kept, swimming pool is massive with a jacuzzi hot tub, didn’t use the spa but looks amazing, bedroom was lovely, a nice size overlooking the garden area, nice and quiet, didn’t use golf course but ‘The Pin’ is a great place to visit ( in hotel grounds) sports bar, bowling, driving range, shuttle board and lots more, friendly helpful staff, will definitely be back!"
