The location is not bad, about 15minutes walk to the castle and less than 5 mins to the main street where you can find lot of shops and food. The manager Suat is a friendly and funny man, although he can’t speak English. Google translate would solve the communication problem. "

"This hotel is easy walking distance to the main shops and transportation to Ani, as well as the Kars Castle and the train station. It also had surprisingly fast wifi, and a nice breakfast spread! The staff doesn't speak much (if any) English, and people were smoking in the main lobby (and rooms), but all in all I enjoyed my stay. "
"Deniz is such a genuinely kind and wonderful person who went well out of her way to make sure we had a great visit. It was a treat staying with her, just like staying in the home of a beloved relative. Her home is very clean, quiet, comfortable, and lovingly maintained. All of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. I don’t remember the name of each one of them but they were all professional and nice always ready to help and assist. Miss Melisa, Ebru and Mr Erhan were extremely helpful with everything! Oh not to forget the breakfast was so delicious!
