"A really lovely and relaxing place to spend a few days whilst visiting the game reserves. Very attentive staff, a large and comfy bedroom A lookout deck, pool, hammock and outdoor seating area are all lovely, and would be fabulous in warmer weather. Three course dinner (set menu) was delicious and all home-prepared on site. The dining room is also very nice, and we were seated right by the fire - very welcome in August. The shower did go cold on us twice, but I think in winter it's harder...

Beautiful little flat, well maintained and clean, gated parking and a lovely hostess. "Only stayed one night and arrived in the early evening and had difficulty finding the location, mostly because the roads in SA tend to not have working street lighting. Friendly well mannered Staff, felt happy the parking was secure enough, great breakfast, spacious but "worn" room with a good view of the river, noisy neighbours though. Had a good rest."

"The reserve has comfortable chalets. The game drives were amazing thou sometimes were felt borderline dangerous due to very close encounters with lions and especially with the large herd of elephants with babies, that became agitated by our car proximity. Fortunately, all encounters ended peacefully. Our guide/driver Brendon had 21 years of experience in the reserve, thanks to him we had unforgettable experience of finding and meting almost all the species in reserve, as I mentioned mostly face to face: lions (full family of 7), elephants, buffalos, rhinos, hippos (that's 4 out of big 5), not to mention zebras, elands, springboks, wildebeests, herds of giraffes to mention a few. Would recommend visiting the reserve, We spent there full 2 days what was more than enough to not repeat same experiences, if we were staying longer."
